Love-de-Lic was a studio formed by several ex-Square employees in the late 90s. They made Moon: Remix RPG Adventure in 1997, which just recently got released in English for the first time.

Let's look at some of the key personnel, and track their other works...
Kenichi Nishi did map planning for Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG before founding Love-de-Lic. Later, he would go on to direct Chibi Robo, and write Captain Rainbow.
Tarou Kudou was also involved with Super Mario RPG, but he also did Sound Design for Super Castlevania IV. After Love-de-Lic, he designed minigames in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, directed Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland, and wrote/Directed the Paper Mario games since Sticker Star.
Akira Ueda, who did the backgrounds on Moon, was another Square veteran of SMRPG, Secret of Mana, Romancing SaGa, and sound design on Final Fantasy IV. He did map design for Flower Sun & Rain, then directed Shining Soul (and its sequel), and Contact.
Akira Ueda also contributed 2D graphics and HUD design for the first two No More Heroes games. And he worked with Taro Kudou again on Paper Mario: Sticker Star, where he did planning.
Yoshiro Kimura did map production on Romancing SaGa 2 and combat design for 3 with Square, before joining Love-de-Lic. Afterwards, he would go on to direct Chulip, produce No More Heroes, direct Little King's Story, and even picked up a software design credit on DMC2.
Hirofumi Taniguchi didn't work on Moon, but he did do music/sound on Love-de-Lic's other games, L.O.L.: Lack of Love, and UFO: A Day in the Life. He also composed on Suikoden, did sound effects for Contra III & Hard Corps, and the music for Chulip, Chibi-Robo, & Captain Rainbow.
Kazuyuki Kurashima did the character design for Moon, and he also designed characters for Super Mario RPG, Live a Live, Endonesia, Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland, Little King's Story.
Those last three - Yoshiro Kimura, Kurashima Kazuyuki, and Hirofumi Taniguchi - formed Onion Games in 2017 and have been primarily releasing mobile titles like Dandy Dungeon, Million Onion Hotel, and Black Bird. This is the team that handled the recent Moon port.
And of course, any thread on Moon's legacy would be incomplete without mentioning Undertale. Toby Fox has said that Moon was an influence on him, and playing both games it's readily apparent.
