J-Hope: I feel overwhelmed because my team's sincerity seems to connected with the world. It is an honor for our fans too. The fans' support is my driving force to work hard, and I think that power permeated into making BTS and J-Hope. I want to give all the glory to our fans.
Jimin: I never imagined it. There was a certain expectation, the members expected it too somewhat, and the fans looked forward to it, so I wanted to receive it at least once in a lifetime, but I still can't believe it, I'm so happy. (MC: I heard that Jimin cried and cried.)
RM: I was waiting at dawn, and was the first person to hear the news. The next day, we had schedules and rehearsals so I went to bed quickly after seeing the results.
RM continues: I thought a lot about the old days, when we ate budaejjjigae (Korean army stew) together in the practice room, getting scolded at the studio, and tried my best to stay calm.
Jungkook: It was also my birthday when I received the news and I was so grateful of the great birthday present. I think I did well in my life. Thank you, mom and dad. I love you Army.
Jin: RM put a picture in our message room – us getting No. 1 in Billboard -- about ten minutes before the announcement? Then he said oops it’s photo shopped. Ten minutes after, he posted the same picture.
Suga: I am still bewildered. I usually respond to questions that ask us about the goal, and the No. 1 on Hot 100 was something ah, yes, I want to try it once. And when I checked it at dawn, I pinched it to see if it was a dream or not.
V: I thought about how 7 years ago, we were living all together and clustered in the basement studio, singing and dancing. I don’t know why I thought of this but I remember coming to Seoul and taking a cab with my dad and how the cab driver went around the city to get more money.
V continues: My dad said things like this happen but I felt so angry. Now I think back of our old times and hardships, and I think of them as happy, unforgettable memories. So at least today, I want everyone to be happy without worries or anxieties.
Q. What’s your next goal?
Suga: Remember how we did a collab stage earlier this year at Grammys? We want to do our own stage at the Grammy. We want to be at the stage on our own, sing one of our songs.

Q. Jimin, you shared how much you cried after hearing the news.
Jimin: I don’t know why I cried. I heard the news pretty late, around 4am (RM shared the news at 3:30am) and cried until 7am, falling asleep on the couch. I was so surprised at first and kept looking at the chart.

Jimin continues: To RM, I said how we were able to get here because of him, the leader. Everything we’ve been doing was being heard and accepted. As soon as I saw chart, I also wanted to do a concert. I miss our fans so much.
Q. Besides the Grammys, are there any goals you'd like to reach?
RM: Right now, ironically, our biggest goal and hope is to perform and do concerts, which is what we'd been doing all along. I don't know when that's going to be so it feels like a dream to me now.

RM continues: In the short-run, we're going to continue working hard on our album and host the concert which will probably be virtual. BTS will do the best and most we can at the given time.
