Amal didn't violate the dress code. Her only 'crime' was talking about what happened to her in public. These rules are only applied to Saudi women and female tourists are left alone. The patriarchy is deeply rooted in our laws and those who are enforcing them.

It's worth noting that Saudi women are still "harassed" by officers for not wearing an ABAYA! Let alone them actually following a dress code.
Whereas female tourists can even wear bikinis and nobody says a word about it.

My biggest fear is that KSA is headed towards being another "Dubai"
Emirati women are still restrained by guardian laws and "cultural" dress codes whereas foreigner are free to do anything. Now the world thinks of Dubai as the city of this so-called freedom.
