Allah says in Qur'an:
We saved him and all his family, except for an old woman who behind.“ [26:170-171]

@Hadithoftheday When three angels arrived at the outskirts of Lut A.S's town in the form of very handsome human beings.
Lut A.S heard of the strangers, he felt distressed and wondered how he could convince them to bypass the towns of Sodom and continue on their travels.

@Hadithoftheday He brought them to his house secretly so that no one but his family knew that they were there. However, his wife went out to inform her people, saying, “In Lut’s house there are men whose like I have never seen, nor have I ever seen such handsome faces.”

"Indeed, you are people unknown." (Qur’an 15:62), Lut A.S said to this visitors, thus giving them an indirect hint of what they might expect in his town.
His guests showed no trace of fear or concern.

@Hadithoftheday Only the people of his house were aware of the guests but his wife went out and informed the people that Lut A.S had brought handsome men into the house. People immediately came and surrounded the house and demanded Lut A.S to give up his guests to them.
@Hadithoftheday Lut A. S barricaded himself behind the closed door but when he found the task of holding them back formidable, he said,“If only I had the strength to stop you or could rely on strong support!” [11:80]
@Hadithoftheday Angels told lut a.s to leave that place with his family during night. Lut A.S left with his family and when the sun rose the decree of Allah was fulfilled. A severe punishment descended upon the people and destroyed all of them.
@Hadithoftheday His wife was among those who were destroyed. Allah sent a violent tornado with showers of stones to the disbelievers which included his wife too.
