Aspirin is referred to as a “WONDER DRUG”, because different dose of aspirin will treat different ailment.
• 500mg of Aspirin every 4-6hrs will treat rheumatoid arthritis.
• 75mg of aspirin daily can prevent stroke.
• 350mg of aspirin will treat moderate pain.
High dose of aspirin should not be taken by pregnant women as it can affect the fetus.
Breastfeeding mothers are not to use aspirin as it can cross through the breast milk to the baby.
Also, people with stomach ulcer are not to use aspirin, as it can worsen it.
Warfarin, digoxin, methotrexate, tumeric. This is not the complete list of all the drugs it should not be taken together with.
