THREAD: For the first time ever I retweeted Trump’s disgusting comments on Veterans over and over again. It’s possible some followers may have left because of redundancy of my tweets and feeling annoyed (oh well). But calling my fellow Vets “losers” and “suckers” was too much. 1/
Over the course of this Presidency, I’ve taken a lot of hits including made to feel as if I don’t belong because I’ve chosen Islam as faith. In fact, I’ll never forget when he went on national TV and stated, “Islam hates us.” And then moved forward with a Muslim Ban. Painful. 2/
If you’re not tan skinned or don a black beard like I do you probably won’t understand — let’s just say it’s been a tough 3+ years. Of course being Muslim in America hasn’t helped much either even after having served this Nation as a proud Muslim American US Marine. 3/

When will we say enough is enough? When will we stop making it about Democrat vs Republican? Or Liberal vs Conservative? When will finally we stop ignoring everything that is taking place before our eyes? Have we lost all decency? These questions I want us to ask of ourselves. 7/
