Lord Shri Padmanabha Swamy Ruler of Temple Worship Sampradaya not only made Sampradya inclusive through historic Temple Entry Proclamation also provided representation in admin of temples thru Travancore Dewaswom Board for community members of Sampradaya
While doing above reform Lord Shri Padmanabha Swamy Ruler of Temple Worship Sampradaya took care through Article VIII of the covenant and also by enacting TC Ordinance based on covenant even before Constitution of India came into force to keep Secular State away from temple admin
It is fascinating that even the Rule making power under the TC Act was given to Devawom Board representing the Temple Worship Sampradaya “Hindu public having belief in God and faith in temple worship" so as to insulate the temple admin from the Secular Govt
Even though as held by SC recently in its historic 13th July judgement Art VIII of covenant was not impacted by the 26th amendment the 1974 amendment of TC Act can be said to be beginning of the gaining of Secular Govt over temple admin against covenant
The process of gaining control of the Secular State over the temples was slowed down by the Kerala HC full bench which held TC Act as a law u Art 26(d) with “Hindu public having belief in God and faith in temple worship" as a Religious denomination rep by the Dewaswom Boards.
The Sabarimala agitation showed TDB a body created by Ruler Deity to provide rep to devotees as Tirupan Alwar in admin was used by Secular State to gain control over temple admin so that body no longer represented sampradaya protecting interests of Deity
Feb 6th 2019 a day when TDB funded by Lord Ayyappa's money left Him in lurch in the SC highlighting the above aspect of TDB not representing the Temple Worship Sampradaya bringing to fore all the slow dilutions done in TC Act right from 1974 by Secular State to gain control.
If the TDB really represented the agitating Temple Worship Sampradaya 👇 it would have not taken the above position in the SC on Feb 6th 2019 of leaving Lord Ayyappa Deity in lurch
