The most positive, motivating man I ever met!

I met him at the lowest point in my life.
- recently divorced & cheated on
-149 pounds 0 muscle, less confidence

Met him thru a friend one night out & he says come lift with me tomorrow Ty!

This man infused energy & life back into me.
He invited to the gym every day & I went every day.

I met dozens of friends at that gym.
I ended up getting certified as a trainer & loving fitness

His invitation “to come lift Ty” was the catalyst for my entire life changing! 🙏

I often think about Kolby when I want to have an average day & not pour into others.
Just take it easy & sit back...

What if he wasn’t his best self that day & didn’t invite me?
How would my life look now?

One simple ask & one man on fire 🔥 changed my entire life!
I challenge my staff & myself everyday to never have ordinary interactions.

My two toddler sons always made the biggest deal of the garbage truck!

For years we would race to the door to see our hero garbageman scoop up our trash & aggressively dump the trash out!

Our boys would cheer!

The drivers let them sit in the truck many times!

One morning, not long ago,
I yelled GARBAGE TRUCK GARBAGE TRUCK to them..... and they didn't budge.

No running & cheering.

No racing to the door & yelling I SAW IT FIRST!

No hoping today would be a special day he lets them in the truck to "drive."

It was just no big deal.
"We're building a train dad."

I couldn't believe it.
The end of an era.

My first thought was,

I WISH I KNEW THE LAST TIME THEY DID THIS WAS THE LAST TIME!

I would have savored it more.
I would have been more present.

It felt like decades they did this if I'm honest & I took it for granted it would happen again & again.

At 31 my net worth was 100k.
I traded TIME for money working a job I didn't like.

At 41 my net worth is 2.2 million.
I'm financially free.

•I'm not a genius.
•I don't play the lottery.
•I didn't inherit any wealth.

Here’s the steps I took (AND YOU CAN REPLICATE) to create wealth & freedom:
1) MARRY the right spouse.

I suppose you could just marry someone worth 50 million, but I don’t mean that :)

My wife had around the same net worth when we met.

I had made 20x more than her as a poker pro tho.

She’s frugal.
She sees longterm.

She helped me a ton in this area.
My wife cares ZERO about status or appearing wealthy.

We have used furniture, we don’t upgrade our lifestyle or try to keep up with the Joneses.

We value being wealthy so we can spend TIME together & build our legacy, not acquire stuff.

Freedom of time is the ultimate wealth, not shiny toys.

Six years ago my family cancelled:

•Hulu
•Netflix
•HBO GO
•Cable TV
•Deleted all “news” apps

We unplugged from what SOCIETY told us was important & focused ONLY on what we knew was important.

•Faith
•Family
•Fitness
•Finances
•Friendships

Here’s the results: Image
1) Our family saved $130/month by canceling these services.

Six years ago we got paid TWO ways each month:

•My salary
•Wife’s salary

Last month we got paid 13 different ways!!!

With the extra time & endless resources available to us (Twitter, YouTube, mentors) we learned!!
I fired my corporate job 4.5 years ago & “work” on only things I love with people I love.

Turns out it’s 100x more FULFILLING learning & working on things you feel passionate about than mindlessly zoning out every night.

Our PASSIVE income now covers our monthly expenses!

Our net worth has 11x!

We are financially FREE!Image

I respect her a lot.

I could not DISAGREE with this take anymore though.

It seems this has crept into Christian circles too.

By telling a healthy married TESTOSTERONE FILLED man JUST ACCEPT NOT HAVING SEX you are 100% setting him up for failure.

fun, energetic sex with his wife over ANYTHING ELSE in the relationship & he's LYING if he says no.

I was 11 & my father sat me down & told me a story that changed my life.

He said when he was 14 he was small in stature, but was friends with everyone.

Freshman year he saw a couple seniors picking on a defenseless kid.

He told them to stop.

They laughed at him.

And Then.... Image
He walked up to one in the gym locker room tapped one on the shoulder & as he turned around punched him square in the face.

They fought a few minutes & my dad admitted he got the worst of it.

But as they were getting pulled away the senior says,

"YOU ARE A PSYCHO!"

My dad says,

"Yes I am!!! And understand if I ever see you picking on anyone again, I'll do this everyday so be prepared & decide if it's worth a fight!"
The bullying stopped forever on day one.

The guy that was getting picked on & my dad are still friends 50 years later.

My pops told me to maybe use a better solution than fighting, but he would be disappointed in me if I ever witnessed other kids getting bullied & did nothing.

You are as responsible as the bully he told me.

When my wife whispers,

"Hurry reading the kids books & meet me in bed, I'll be waiting in my birthday suit!"

I feel 10 feet tall :)

If a guy routinely advances on his wife & she:
•treats it like a chore.
•NEVER seems interested.
•Is always too tired or busy.

He WILL get discouraged, look elsewhere, & the marriage is in BIG trouble.

If you're married & NOT HAVING SEX you don't need to wonder if there's a problem...... there is.

MOST men won't cheat physically, but they will mentally with porn & the marriage is still in trouble.

I recall asking my wife a couple years into marriage,

"How would you feel if everytime you tried to talk to me for a week I ignored you, acted like I didn't care, or it was a bother to chat with you?

"Would you feel distant or close?"
"Would you wonder if I even liked you?"

That's exactly how I feel if we aren't intimate.

Not close & connected with you.

Even if everything else is going great.

That area is as important to me as talking, sharing life, & quality time is to you.
