Guy on the far left is Kolby.
The most positive, motivating man I ever met!

I met him at the lowest point in my life.
- recently divorced & cheated on
-149 pounds 0 muscle, less confidence

Met him thru a friend one night out & he says come lift with me tomorrow Ty!

I did👇 Image
This man infused energy & life back into me.
He invited to the gym every day & I went every day.

I met dozens of friends at that gym.
I ended up getting certified as a trainer & loving fitness

His invitation “to come lift Ty” was the catalyst for my entire life changing! 🙏
👇
I often think about Kolby when I want to have an average day & not pour into others.
Just take it easy & sit back...

What if he wasn’t his best self that day & didn’t invite me?
How would my life look now?

One simple ask & one man on fire 🔥 changed my entire life!
I challenge my staff & myself everyday to never have ordinary interactions.

Be a light & the best part of that persons day!!

You never know how
one invite,
one smile,
one spark can change someone’s day & someone’s life!!🔥

Let’s all be that person & change the world!!❤️🙏
Wow!! You are incredible!! That’s so cool!!

Enjoy those kiddos my man!! Mad respect!!

I recall asking my parents what they would do if I got into a fight & killed someone on accident.

My MOM spoke up first,

We would love you, help you, pray with you, & fight with you. We love you always Ty.

My DAD looked me in the eye & I'll never forget what he said next.
ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES SON.

I would drive you to the police station myself.

I would never stop loving you, but you would face the consequences.

I remember being like c'mon dad what if this or what if that.....

He held firm.

Every choice you make in life has consequences.
Think about it before you attend that party, do that drug, hang around with those types of people.

He told me a couple stories of buddies he knew that ruined their lives over one stupid decision.

It scared me enough to keep me out of a lot of trouble.

The SECOND most attractive girl I dated (behind my wife) was 23 & a cheerleader at a big PAC 12 school.

She turned heads for sure.

I was 29 & we went on 3 dates.

The first two were fun & we vibed well.

The third I picked her up & she told me she just got a $1,200 haircut (mine are $15 & I think that's outrageous:). 🚩

She was then very rude to our waitress & complained a few times about the service. 🚩

I pictured my future of "EXPENSIVE & COMPLAINING" & told her after dinner as politely as I could I wasn't interested & there wouldn't be a date 4.

I have never seen anything like it!!!

I think most 9's & up NEVER get rejected & take for granted every guy will pursue them.

She messaged me for weeks.

I got engaged a year later, hadn't thought of her since, & she wrote me this long letter on SM.

I took a couple things away from it I think all men can learn from:
1) NEVER CHASE.

Build yourself, know you are the prize & legit feel sorry for girls that reject you based on status.

If you're in an entry level job but building, DO NOT APOLOGIZE for it or act like you have all this money.

If she likes you, she'll see the long term vision & build with you!

If not, HER LOSS, keep building!
I think females are very attracted to ambition.

It shouldn't matter where you are if she can see potential for where you're going.

So stop spending tons of money on first dates to impress her.

Coffee & a walk is optimal.

If she requires more than that.....

NEXT!!!

I made a 4 year old (not my own kid) CRY at church last night......

Here's a controversial parenting move I felt I needed to use.

I walk in (30 kids & 3 volunteers) & (my son) is crying.

I ask what happened & he said this boy ripped up his picture & hit him.
My son is 4 & honestly we've had A LOT of talks about HIM not hitting.

He's a beast.
Super aggressive.

So I said, well think of that when you do it to your brother!

Tyson then said he told a teacher but the kid kept hitting several times.

Then, as we're walking out together.. Image
A boy runs up behind us & slugs him in the head.....

Closed fist to the back of the head & laughs.

Tyson looks up at me & says "owww dad that's (Kids name) that's been hitting me all day."

I called the boy over & knelt beside both of them.

I’m not a minimalist, but I’ve seen the POWER of DECLUTTERING my life.

LESS is often MORE.

Or as Brad Pitt famously said in Fight Club,

“The stuff you own ends up OWNING YOU."

Here’s SIX areas you should DECLUTTER, simplify & better your life for more PEACE.

*BOOKMARK THIS!Image
1) RELATIONSHIP CLUTTER:

It’s hard but some people YOU ALLOW around you drain you each time you see them.

I call them energy vampires.

Distance yourself from these people.

If they cost you your peace,
Don’t allow it!

•Block off quiet, alone time weekly.
I have 3 young kids.

They demand a lot of energy.

All parents know kids are the BIGGEST BLESSINGS EVER, but also exhausting at times.

A strategy I use daily I call POWER IN THE PAUSE.

A few times a day I step away & take 5-6 deep breaths & reset myself.

Charges me back up! Image

Does your WIFE often feel like your biggest CRITIC?

You deal with PROBLEMS all day at work & then come home & deal with her?

I used to be like this.

I used to blame her for everything.

Then, a few mindset shifts CHANGED our entire marriage!

*BOOKMARK THIS! Image
1) Take OWNERSHIP of everything

But Ty my wife doesn’t understand as a guy my need to feel respected & built up.

She doesn’t get my need to see friends & have some guy time.

I get it BUT…..

IT IS YOUR FAULT YOU HAVN’T communicated to her how critical these things are to you.
You must sit her down & have a hard talk on WHY you need things, how she can best help you & HOW it’s going to make you a better husband.

Then, ask her how you can do the same for her.

Boys complain & whine.
Men LEAD & take ownership.

This is how she’ll RESPECT you.
