THREAD 1-14

1/ Trump knew how deadly Covid-19 was very early as you can hear on the President Woodward tapes. He talks about how contagious it is, how it's airborne-transmissible, how it affects young people as well as old. He was told that 500,000 people could die. IN FEBRUARY.

2/ But he didn't tell us any of that, when we could have been preparing. In fact, he did nothing but lie. He directly contradicted everything he said to Woodward in press conference after press conference. He turned down the WHO test kits.

3/ He pushed to re-open businesses and schools before Easter. He said the virus would magically go away. He said children were "practically immune." He belittled people wearing masks and encouraged his supporters not to.

4/ All because he was worried it would hurt the economy, and therefore his chances at re-election. Isn't that a truly depraved level of cynicism and self-interest? How many people have died unnecessarily so he could feed the illusion of retaining power?

5/ How much blood is on the hands of his enablers? His excuse? "I didn't want to cause a panic." Oh really? What about four years of lies about the need for a never-will-be-built wall across our entire southern border to keep existential rapists, terrorists and gangsters out?

6/ What about the caravans full of cartel henchmen and Al Qaeda operatives heading toward us like Sherman's March, ready to storm our checkpoints and force us to speak Esperanto and drink Horchata, only to magically disappear (like the virus) a day after the mid-term elections?

7/ What about the Muslim ban, and the insistence that Joe Biden intends to destroy the suburbs, and how soon brown people will buy the house next-door in your gated golf community? What about how the Radical Left Agenda wants nothing more than to end the American Dream itself?

8/ Or that AOC is pulling Biden's puppets strings and the second he's elected will institute a hybrid of Sharia Law, Bernie Sanders homilies and strict Leninist/Marxism in which you will be ripped from your home and forced to harvest turnips in a collective farm in South Dakota?

9/ What about hordes of well-coordinated Antifa mercenaries burning down "Democrat-run" cities and reducing Portland and Seattle to rubble, which is news to the people who live there, but why ask someone actually on the ground? Was any of that meant to induce panic?

10/ Do you think if you polled the entire country, nearly everyone but the true frying-pan-to-skull MAGA zealots would say, "Hey, I'm emotionally stable enough to tamp down my panic, what I really would have preferred were a few honest facts and possibly a little science"?

11/ A sociopath is someone who lies, manipulates, and randomly wounds those around them while managing to rationalize their guilt. A psychopath does the same, but has no guilt because they don't think they're doing anything wrong.

12/ Trump is the Strother Martin of psychopathology. "What we have here is a failure to President-tate."
