"When God says Yes" - John 14:13-14

Jesus is saying anything you ask in his name he will do it. But why is it that children of God ask and don't receive answers?

We serve a God who answers our prayers. We have over 3000 promises in God's word for ourselves but how many of it have we claimed? Sometimes the issue is we're not aware of these promises.

Even when we dont believe him, as long as it's in line with what He has in store for our lives, He will fulfil it irrespective of our unbelief.

Sometimes we pray for what we don't need but you put pressure and end up getting what don't need and not in line with your destiny.

You must let the world know who you are otherwise it will make you what you are not. Believe what God says about you.

Keys to Getting God's Yes

1. Ask according to God's will. If you are asking for anything ensure it aligns with God's will. Examine your motive when you ask. 1 John 5:15

You do this by studying God's word to unravel His will concerning your life. The word is loaded with God's thoughts and purpose for your life.

2. Ask with the right intent. Get your motive right. Why do you desire to be blessed? Why are you praying? (James 4:3) God blesses you to be a blessing to others (Gal. 6:10)

3. Believe you have an answer. If your prayer cannot move you, it can't be answered. You must be sensitive when you pray for the answers. You miss out when you don't have an expectation or believe when you pray. Mark 11:24

Do something in line with what you believe. Don't just believe in words alone, take actions in line with what you believe.

4. Be a soul winner. John 15:16

To win souls is not only the people you bring to the church but those you impacted for the kingdom. You are to be a channel of God's person wherever you are. Announce Jesus to the world.
