Here is an @latimes article that was Public Relations driven. Mike Kanalakis was sheriff (and a corrupt one at that) and he was in the election fight of his life. Or as Kano saw it, life and death, because Kano LOVED glad-handing and freebies.

I had just put Scott Miller into Image
the 2010 @MCoSheriff's race and Kano, as Sheriff Kanalakis was called, was punishing everyone. Kano was afraid of my truths and what I knew about his past conduct so he largely kept his Miller attacks to political ads making Miller look bizarre. (notice I do that here on Twitter

It’s shocking the lack of ethics that exists within @SalinasPD.

When I say this I’m talking about leadership and that begins and ends with a Chief.

Kim Craig, @CityofSalinas’ right wing Mayor is outted by her neighbor (quite innocently) as residing in “her” home with
Bobby Richardson, who fits the textbook definition of common law partner under California and federal law on Willow Street in South Salinas.

Craig was so alarmed that this truth was revealed she sent me a threatening letter on City letterhead to no longer speak about her South
Salinas residence. The panic of Craig was inspired by the fact that Craig had just run for Supervisor against Glenn Church and Regina Gage and lost spectacularly BUT Craig used her North Salinas condo to qualify as her domicile for legal purposes even though she was living on
