MINISTERIAL RETREAT: KUDOS FOR JOB WELL DONE, PRESIDENT BUHARI WRITES SGF BOSS MUSTAPHA

President @MBuhari has written a personal letter to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Gida Mustapha, commending him for organising a successful Ministers’ Retreat from September 7-8, 2020.
The President in the letter personally signed by him, said he was ''very impressed'' with the SGF’s performance at the retreat, hailing his organisational competence and comprehensive speech delivered on the beginning of the second day of the Retreat.

Excerpts from the letter:
I am writing to personally recognise your competence and commend the way you organised and led the Ministers’ Retreat. The intellectual inputs by the Panel, Chaired by the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Alhaji Yayale Ahmed were remarkable.” — Pres @MBuhari
“The benefits derived from the Committees discussions were enormous and the added values to the Ministers’ and Permanent Secretaries’ experiences very much appreciated.” — President @MBuhari
“Your comprehensive speech at the beginning of the second day of the Retreat proved your capacity and experience. For those of us who missed the first day of the Retreat, the speech adequately prepared us for the second and final day of the occasion.” — President @MBuhari
“I am happy to write this short letter of appreciation to you because, I am very impressed with your performance at the Retreat.” — President @MBuhari

The Presidency welcomes the judgment by the UK Court granting Nigeria’s application for an extension of time and relief from sanctions in a $10 billion arbitration case with Process and Industrious Development Limited (P&ID) in Nigeria. #Thread

President @MBuhari has approved the appointment of Col. Milland Dixion Dikio (rtd) as Interim Administrator (Amnesty Programme) with effect from August 21, 2020.
This followed the President’s approval of the disengagement of Prof. Charles Quarker Dokubo from Office as the Coordinator, Amnesty Programme with immediate effect.

Prof. Dokubo has been directed to hand over all official matters to the most senior officer of the Programme.
