It pretty much speaks for itself, but let me make two comments

1. The improved margins represented by the Green numbers reflect having proprietary Battery Manufacturing

- which I expect to hear being announced formally on Battery Day
@DaubiMarc @DillonDecal @Real_Futurist 2. The 10x P/E Multiple gives a “Buyer’s Price” based on the low-end of the historical S&P 500

- a more realistic 20x P/E Multiple would represent a “Seller’s Price” in 2031

That gives a Market Cap of $3,600 billion

Allowing for dilution gives $3,160 per share in 2031

This is not an attempt to predict all of Battery Day

- it is just a primer on one aspect - SIZE

Let us assume that this is in fact a Roadrunner cell

What is its size ?

- some say it is 54 mm diameter x 99 mm length or “5499”

For illustration purposes I am going to assume that it is 55 mm diameter x 90 mm length or “5590”

Length is both a critical factor and constraint
The constraint that I am applying here is the height limitation of the existing Model 3 and Y Battery Packs

- which I am assuming to have an overall height of 105 mm and a module height of 90 mm

Because of its compact body shape alone, the ID.3 is seen as being limited globally and is not even offered in the USA

The ID.4 is presented “as the first 100% electric SUV of our brand and designed as a world car,” says Brandstätter…
VW brand boss Ralf Brandstätter confirmed that 25,000 ID.3 of the 1st Edition are “in the markets and will be in the hands of customers in the next few days”

But the ID.3 is virtually only the vanguard of a much more important model - the ID.4 which will be presented next week
The first ID.4 should be available to customers before the end of this year

LG Chem plans to restructure its global battery business into a new subsidiary through a physical division in which LG Chem will own 100% of the shares of the new unlisted corporation…
LG Chem will seek approval from an extraordinary meeting of stockholders on 30 October 2020 and officially launch the subsidiary tentatively named LG Energy Solution as a new corporation exclusively in charge of the battery business from 1 December 2020
LG Chem plans for the new company to achieve sales of more than KRW 30 trillion USD 25.6 billion in 2024 and become the world’s best energy solutions company based on batteries

The expected revenue of the new corporation this year is around KRW 13 trillion or US$11 billion

In 2019 U.S. annual Energy consumption from Renewable sources exceeded Coal consumption for the first time in over 130 years since before 1885

Coal consumption in the United States fell nearly -15% from 2018 and Renewable Energy consumption grew by +1%
This outcome mainly reflects the continued decline in the amount of Coal used for electricity generation over the past decade as well as growth in Renewable Energy, mostly from Wind and Solar
Coal was once commonly used in the industrial, transportation, residential, and commercial sectors

About 90% of Coal consumption is used in the United States today is used to generate electricity in the electric power sector, and nearly all the rest is in the industrial sector

In the UK if you have a Tesla car, Powerwall and solar you can add sign up for a “Tesla Tariff” with Octopus Energy

This gives you 24-hour electricity @ 8p per kWh which is almost half price
If you feed electricity back into the grid you receive credit at the same 8p per kWh

Octopus Energy supplies only 100% renewable energy

Tesla also offers their Solar Roof in the UK
