The bus driver situation is getting worse and is not looking like it is getting better. Soon it will be quicker to list the areas of the province that are not having problems.
Brantford and Haldimond :
Rotating bus cancellations. 32 different routes cancelled each day
Bus driver shortages also exist in Windsor, Hamilton, Thunder Bay, Owen Sound, etc, etc
The gov't and @sflecce have been silent on helping bus consortia getting through this shortfall. So far the gov't re-opening plan has suggested parents find solutions from the private secton
Darn typo in the first tweet of the thread. It should say: “does not look like it is getting better anytime soon”

An #onted thread on how @sflecce and @fordnation are trying to change the narrative by using HVAC/ventilation as an item to blame school boards
May 19 (schools remain closed for year, Ministry will develop a plan for reopening):
$0 and zero mentions for HVAC
June 19 (schools will need to develop 3 plans, full return, fully online or hybrid with 15 students max. Ministry will then tell them which plan to use):
$0 and zero mentions for HVAC
July 23 (“Historic” reannouncment to build and modernize schools):
$? specified for HVAC/ventilation upgrades and 1 mention of HVAC specifically “air conditioning”
Math question. If the govt proudly announced they have provided $4million in funding for enhanced cleaning and that fund was JUST used to purchase hand sanitizer for classroom use how long will it last?
With ~2,000,000 students in public schools in Ontario that works out to $2/child.
In secondary the average class is funded at 23.5 students. So that works out to an extra $47/classroom for the entire year.
