I still remember waking up in my grandmother’s home to the voice of Baba Ramdev addressing thousands of people on a TV channel. He would tell them how to do breathing exercises and complementary tips to stay fit.
Almost 10 years later, I visit my grandmother’s house and find Baba Ramdev’s presence in another form, Patanjali Ayurveda.
Started off as a small pharmacy in 1997.
Soon had 5000 distribution partners and 15000 stores.
Created a brand image of health and vitality by choosing Baba Ramdev as its brand ambassador.
In order to maintain their low prices, they source their ingredients directly from farmers and do not have any middlemen involved.
Has a turnover of around 5500 crore.
Has garnered 4.5% market share in FMCG.

Flow is a state in which people are so involved in an activity that nothing else seems to matter; the experience itself is so enjoyable that people will do it even at great cost, for the sheer sake of doing it.
(1/11) You may think that you are great at delegating things.
You could also think that your subordinates don't inspire confidence in you.
But believe me Tim's clarity on Delegation makes using it a no brainer.
A Thread:
(2/11) Why Delegate?
Your Goal should be to free your time to focus on bigger and better things. If you are spending your time on chores and errands that could be spent better elsewhere, only you are responsible for sorting it out.
(3/11) What & When to Delegate :
1. When you are clear about your tasks : Refine your rules and processes before adding people. Using people to leverage a refined process multiplies production; using people as a solution to a poor process multiplies problems.
Times have changed, there is excess of data everywhere. Data is being overly monetised. Authors and other content creators are generating lot of revenue, hence information available for consumption is increasing multifold everyday.
This demands a new skillset of being able to find the right dose of information that is important for you.
