CORRECTION: The thread below, on "Tripcodes: What are they?", is not accurate & should not repeat not be relied upon: it conflates tripcodes with user ids.

A pretty good clue was that the field we described as the "tripcode" has "ID" *right in front of it*.
Please don't rely on or reproduce that thread. We're leaving it up because owning up to and correcting your mistakes is *always* better than hiding them.
