I am sad to announce that our channel Swaraj Express has abruptly and suddenly shut down. It’s telecast was unilaterally stopped by our licence partner for reasons yet unknown to us. I would like to thank everyone who supported us and was co-passenger in this journey. 1/n
I would like to thank our promoter Dr. Sunil Kapoor for his sustained and unqualified support.

Unfortunately, Covid-19 has created unprecedented situation for everyone. Yet we were inching forward. Despite the sudden brakes, we tried to rework and restart the channel. But our efforts didn’t materialise.

We are proud of our journalistic journey, which however short, tried to re-emphasise the need and importance of classical journalism and utilise it to empower people and uphold accountability of the powerful.

Wrong.

1. The aggressive policy of border infrastructure was adopted by UPA govt under Dr. Manmohan Singh in 2006.

2. Shyam Saran Task Force was created in 2006, which prepared the blue print.

3. 73 India China Border Roads (ICBR) were cleared by the Task Force

5. 1850 km trans-Arunachal highway along Brahmaputra was started

6. Four advanced landing grounds in Chushul, Fukche, Demochok and Daulat Beg Oldie were activated

7. Su-30MKI warplanes were deployed at Tezpur, Chabua and Bareilly

1. विपक्ष का कर्तव्य मुद्दे उठाना है, सरकार की ज़िम्मेदारी उनकी जाँच करवाना है। इस सिस्टम को उल्टा नहीं कर सकते। विपक्ष को पहले जाँच कर, सबूत इकट्ठे कर, फिर बात करने को नहीं कह सकते।

2. सरकार की नीतियों की आलोचना और उनसे होने वाले फ़ैसलों की आलोचना किसी सांसद, मंत्री या PM की निजी आलोचना नहीं मानी का सकती। अगर ऐसा हुआ तो संसद में सरकार के ख़िलाफ़ कभी कोई बात उठाई ही नहीं जा सकेगी। ऐसे में संसद ही निरर्थक हो जाएगी।

Remember 2020, China linked RedEcho attacked India’s power infra, intruded 4 out of the 5 Load Despatch Centers, responsible for real- time integrated operation of India’s power grid!

Not just extremely sad on bridge collapse in #Morbi but also very angry. Because it was a tragedy in waiting

For some time now, bridge collapse, roads caving in, dams breaching is happening quite often
