Tomorrow is caturdasi tithi.Those who were killed by any ayudha are given tarpanam tomorrow during this Mahalaya paksha (pitrpaksha).Its exclusive day marked for them.Our army soldiers who lost their lives for us deserve it tomorrow. So may I humbly request all of you to do it?
देशरक्षार्थे हुतात्मन:सर्वान् सैनिकान् कारुण्यपितॄन् स्वधा नमस्तर्पयामि can be added in the list of Karunikapitrus at the end of regular Mahalayatarpanam.

as our scriptures had taught thus:
जनिता चोपनेता च यश्च विद्यां प्रयच्छति।
अन्नदाता भयत्राता पञ्चैते पितर:स्मृता:।।
Along with yr biological father, he who initiates you into brahmacharya or teaches you vidyas or feed you or protect you from all dangers r considered 2b yr fathers

This tarpanam is meant for all who protect us. Local Policemen, sincere officials, social volunteers, Sadhus who perform tapasya for lokakalyan but killed by enemies like Palghar lynched ones, Gausamrakshakas etc.
