I particularly like the part where he criticizes liberals for creating a "loss of confidence in the vote," then immediately speculates that Nevada will conjure 100,000 votes for Biden out of thin air.
It’s insane that the national Adderall shortage is getting this bad. Not seeing any real sense of urgency to fix it from manufacturers or regulators. I’ve only seen one (1) elected official mention it.
I’ve been taking this for 20 years. No stranger to the stigma, even for people who legitimately need it. Still incredible that Congress and the Biden administration don’t seem to care enough to even pretend they’re doing something about it.
I’ve spent all day calling every pharmacy near me in DC. They’re all out. No idea when it’ll be back in stock. No idea where I can find a place that might be able to help. I run out later this week. Without going into specifics, my qualify of life is about to get a lot worse.
"In the course of the interview, Depape articulated he viewed Nancy as the 'leader of the pack' of lies told by the Democratic Party."
"Depape also later explained that by breaking Nancy’s kneecaps, she would then have to be wheeled into Congress, which would show other Members of Congress there were consequences to actions."
The Supreme Court is back in formal session today. In about ten minutes, they'll release orders from the Long Conference and almost certainly a few cert grants.
I can't get the list to load, but it looks like there's at least one big one:
We're a few minutes away from new SCOTUS opinions. There are nine argued cases left to be decided this term.
The perennial reminder: Opinions drop in 10-minute increments and they'll be announced in order of reverse seniority. (Barrett first, Roberts as chief justice last.)
First up today is Becerra v. Empire Health Foundation, a Medicaid case. Kagan writes for a 5-4 majority that includes Thomas and Barrett: supremecourt.gov/opinions/21pdf…
The Supreme Court will start releasing opinions momentarily. There are 13 argued cases left to be decided this term.
The two usual reminders: There's a ten-minute gap between opinion drops, and they'll be announced in order of reverse seniority.
First up is Berger v. North Carolina NAACP. SCOTUS says state lawmakers can intervene in a voter-ID lawsuit. 8-1 by Gorsuch, with Sotomayor dissenting. supremecourt.gov/opinions/21pdf…
In his written questions for Ketanji Brown Jackson, Chuck Grassley appears to take issue with her statement that "presidents are not kings" in the McGahn case. judiciary.senate.gov/imo/media/doc/…
Mike Lee asks Jackson if she thinks Major League Baseball should still have an antitrust exemption. Jackson declines to answer.
Ted Cruz asks Jackson if she'll commit to attend a Federalist Society event sometime in the next three years if confirmed. Jackson is noncommittal.
