Good Lord, who okayed this speech by JD Vance? It is the intersection of bad narrative and bad delivery. I mean, I cannot hope to understand the mind of a MAGA wacko, but I can't see this doing well with independents.
JD Vance is now lamenting the cost of housing, blaming Wall St, & then blames immigrants. Oh now he is onto China - as if Republicans don't shop at Walmart. As a reminder: He was a venture capitalist corporate lawyer married to another lawyer. He is not poor.
JD Vance, with his wife whose parents are immigrants, is railing against immigrants while the audience screams "send them back." It is really.... something.

If Trump is convicted of federal crimes, he will have to be incarcerated. The question arises as to how this would be done for a former president with Secret Service detail. I doubt he would be under house arrest at MAL where some federal crimes are alleged to have take place. 🧵
2. The Secret Service has no protocol for a protectee who has been convicted of a crime & imprisoned, so one would need to be developed if such a situation arose. One option? Shift agents in a secure federal facility.

Straight up Russian propaganda that benefits the GOP. This man is a useful idiot doing the work of Putin & the fools on the left will fall for it the same way they fell for the Russian asset, Jill Stein.
Imagine running for president & claiming NATO provoked Russia into genocidally attacking a sovereign country. Meanwhile, only tools of Russia propose peace talks since they will involve sacrificing Ukrainian territory.

This man in UNFIT for the presidency.
Every bit of that Cornel West tweet demonstrates an ideologue stuck in the past, who has not caught up with the present reality unfolding in Europe. It demonstrates how wholly unsuited he would be to any political leadership role. He would be as dangerous as Trump.
