Some info about Andrei Muraviev (aka Muravyov) not widely reported

Before allegedly funding Parnas & Fruman in 2018 - his company Parus Capital invested in Iranian social media companies ("Iranian equivalent of Amazon") in late 2015 through Swedish company Pomegranate Investment
In 2016, Andrey Muraviev worked with Kukushkin (who was indicted with Parnas, Fruman, Correia) and with Sacramento businessman Garib Karapetyan to create a cannabis business called Legacy Botanical Company LLC

As Muraviev worked w/Parnas/Fruman partner Kukushkin in 2016 his company Parus invested in Iran.

Former Qiwi president Muravyev & partner Boris Sinegubko invested several million in Swedish co Pomegranate, which invested in DigiKala, Divar, Sheypoor

The only reporting on this I found was in this piece by former IRS investigator Martin Shiel, who noted

"Muraviev certainly had to have had political support at the highest levels of the Russian government to navigate the tricky economic waters of Iran"

Avito founders Nordlander and Engelbert also invested in Pomegranate, which owns 9.4% of Iranian investment company Sarava which in turn owns the tech cos

An April 9 filing listed Steve Bannon as a “Co-Conspirator” in a $1 billion fraud case

Prosecutors identified Bannon as part of a criminal conspiracy allegedly run by Chinese tycoon Guo Wengui

Bannon has not been charged in this case

Russian-American under investigation loaned Trump Media $8 million in 2022

Last year @hugolowell reported on 2 loans to Trump Media from ES Family Trust run by Anton Postolnikov, nephew of Putin ally Aleksandr Smirnov

Today's story adds new information:

ES Family Trust was established in May 2021 and Postolnikov’s access to account was verified in Nov 2021 by a Paxum Bank manager. The trust was funded in December 2021 and Trump Media received loans from ES Family Trust: $2m Dec 2021 and $6m Feb 2022.
