#WandaVision Trailer: People obsessed with possible allusion towards an actual comic book storyline involving one of the main characters #Morbius Trailer: People obsessed with cheap references to Spider-man even though there's no way in hell he will physically appear in the movie
I know it's silly, but this shit makes me happy. #WandaVision
To me Black Panther always represented hope. The hope that we could one day be that advance society that knew no disease or prejudice. A Society that would produce a leader that would travel the world sharing his power & wisdom with those in need--
--and that is why I felt Chadwick was perfect to play T'challa. No matter what role he played, you always believed in him. He filled you with the hope that things were going to be okay, he was the very essence of The Black Panther--
--So it couldn't of been more appropriate for him to be the first Hero to emerge from the portals in Endgame. The world is about to be destroyed, but then he shows up, and right away you know everything is going to be okay--
The Story that makes all GI Joe fans hate me: I come from a military family, so when I was a kid people would give me GI Joe toys all the time even though I had no interest in them. Someone (can't remember who) got me The USS Flagg. The most expensive Toy in the line--
-- and the crown jewel of the collection. The damn thing was so big we couldn't get it in the house. it sat on a table in the garage for most of my childhood where I only played with it once (Aquaman had an epic battle with Black Manta)--
--When I moved to the US my Grandpa offered to ship it to our new house, but I turned down his offer. He then said he was going to donate it to a local daycare. I really hope this big hunk of plastic found a kid who appreciated it more than me--
Okay, I'm staring a Marvel Cartoon-a-Thon on @disneyplus beginning with the DePatie–Freleng shows: Spiderman (1981), Spider-woman, & Spiderman & his Amazing Friends. I have a soft spot for these. They might be silly, but they have allot of heart. Like The Adam West Batman.
Final Thoughts
Spider-woman: This show did not age well and ironically, at times, is very sexist.
Spidey 81: Silly, but charming. Not afraid to show Peter's daily troubles.
Sipdey & HAF: Easily the best of the DePatie–Freleng shows. Recommend it to every SpiderFan.
My Marvel Cartoon-a-thon continues as I venture in to the 90s and the Avi Arad era of Marvel Toons. Starting with X-Men (1992), Spider-man (1994), & The Marvel Action Hour: Ironman/Fantastic Four (1994)
