While fat & skin excision is still performed w/ modern lower blepharoplasty , present trends follow a tissue-preserving philosophy that may include orbital and sub-orbicularis fat repositioning and fat transfer techniques to restore apparent volume loss associated w/facial aging.

This is a procedure that’s usually only done on older patients , but I’ll still feature it.
Severe lower droopy eyelid / Lower eyelid ectropian repair. This was done with a skin graft to resolve irritation, tearing and allow her the ability to properly close her eye.

Upper blepharoplasty is a procedure that involves resectioning of redundant skin and/or musculature of the upper eyelid.
With aging, a patient may notice the upper lids feel “heavy.” This can be caused by the eyebrow descending, upper eyelid skin excess, or both.
Reasons for undergoing an upper blepharoplasty may be purely cosmetic (to reduce the appearance of aging), functional (to reduce obstruction of vision by overhanging skin), or both.

Double eyelid surgery aka East Asian blepharoplasty, is a specific type of Eye lift for Asian patients. The purpose of the procedure is to create an upper eyelid w/ a crease ("double eyelid") from an eyelid that is naturally w/o a crease (“single eyelid" or "monolid").

Canthoplasty - is done to the outer corner of the eye (the canthus), in the section where the upper and lower eyelids meet, which is medically referred to as the lateral canthus
This meeting point should be positioned just above the medial canthus, which is the junction of the lower & upper eyelids, near our noses. This normally results in a “positive” canthal tilt or upward slant, creating an eye shaped like an almond.
Canthoplasty surgery is used to correct canthal tilts that are negative or neutral and causes sagging eyelids,
The procedure varies between patients, but the overall aim is to cut the lower canthal tendon and then reposition or tighten it.

Another type of Canthoplasty is, Epicanthoplasty. This corrects the Mongolian fold (Epicanthic fold) of the eyes. The fold of skin of the upper eyelids which covers the inner corner of the eyes.

This is what’s happening on the majority of these SnapChat and IG filters. They’re making your eyes look much wider and “brighter” . If you want this look permanently , this is the procedure.
“Lazy eye” correction is known as Strabismus surgery. Depending on the positioning of your eyes , will determine the amount of muscle correction necessary
Bulging eyes (Exophthalmos) are usually called by Thyroid eye disease / Graves’ disease , but can also occur naturally. Orbital decompression relaxes the muscle and allows for your eyes to retract into a “normal” position.

IMO getting a surgical canthopexy ( one permanent procedure) outweighs the cost of getting repeated threadlifts to maintain the illusion . Then again celebrities are on a different budget than I am
