This is an excerpt from a paid product we'll be launching soon but felt it was important enough to release for free
Start of excerpt:
Finally, I want to leave you with one piece of advice I wish I could go back and give my former self:
Enjoy. The Fucking. Process.
When you’re first starting out it can be kind of a struggle, and that struggle can feel like it fucking sucks.
You want nothing more than to be done with it and already have a successful business. Yet, once the struggle is over, it’s strange but… you’ll miss it. You’ll miss those days when everything seemed so simple and you didn’t have to worry about taxes or how to invest your money...
...or any of the other plethora of complications making money brings.
Even worse…
You’ll look back and feel so fucking stupid for letting the stress and negativity rule your life, when you could just as easily have enjoyed every minute of it with a big smile on your face.
The reality is, once you hit whatever “success” is as defined by you, it will feel much less exciting than you thought.
It’s much more a feeling of, “Well that’s it?” than it is, “Wow this is amazing!”
So many people don’t give themselves permission to enjoy their life until they’ve achieved whatever goal it is they want to achieve, then they get it and realize nothing’s really changed. They’re still the same person, they still feel the same, look the same, etc.
They just have a few more zeros in their bank account.
Don’t wait until it’s too late to enjoy it.
Give yourself permission to enjoy it now.
Enjoy the struggle.
Enjoy the obstacles.
Enjoy the entire process, good, bad, and everything in between.
Because if you don’t start enjoying it now, eventually you’ll figure out what I’m saying here is true, and you’ll regret all that time you wasted in a state of worry, anxiety, and fear, that just as easily could’ve been spent in abundance, bliss, and love.
(Not to mention it’s extremely difficult to make progress from a place of worry, anxiety, or fear anyway.)
All that said:
I know you won’t need it, but…
Good luck.
