As is the tradition, before we can be forgiven of those things we did wrong during the past year, we need to ask for forgiveness from our fellow human beings.
1)

It’s a last chance to commit to doing better in life.

On Yom Kippur, we as a Jewish nation, as a collective, as a family, make the commitment for each of us and for all of us.

And that includes those who do not sit in the Synagogue, those who think they are atheists, those who cling to customs that may be questionable halachically. - all of us.

SO TO ALL THOSE WHO I MAY HAVE UNINTENTIONALLY HURT, INSULTED, OR OFFENDED, PLEASE FORGIVE ME.

And to those I intentional insulted, hurt, or offended, you probably deserved it.

AND TO ALL THOSE WHO CLAIMED TO KNOW WHAT HASHEM WANTS OF US AND WHO INSIST THEY CAN SPEAK FOR G-D AND LECTURE OTHERS…or to condemn others for not doing this or that your way….

YOU ARE STUCK, BECAUSE YOU VIOLATED THE 3RD OF THE 10 COMMANDMENTS, You shall not carry name of the L‑rd your G‑d in vain; for the L‑rd will not hold him guiltless that takes His name in vain.

And there is no forgiveness due to such arrogance SO AS TO USE THE AUTHORITY OF G-D TO SATISFY YOUR OWN FEARS, YOUR OWN EGO, YOUR OWN HABITS.

BUT FOR EVERYONE ELSE, IT IS A FRESH START.

And just remember, every time you are angry and do not murder, it’s a mitzvah, and every time you see something you would like and don’t steal it, it’s a mitzvah, so with little effort you can be ahead on points.

But be careful on the false witness one. (Lashon Hara), it’s just too easy to lose points.
