I'm gaining a weird taste: to hear foreign people singing in Brazilian Portuguese (when they know nothing or almost nothing about the language). It's funny and interesting.
Gringos learning Portuguese often say "the language has a musical way when correctly spoken", but normally I don't think so: it's just a language, after all.
But as foreign people that are not into studying Portuguese can sing quite well, perhaps the language is easier to sing. Most interesting is that they sing with strong accent (obviously) and without knowing which word is which, blending them and...
... revealing a nice word choice by those who wrote the song, as it is nice to hear even when people aren't able to know the meaning.
