into a more patient-centered strategy.

In current pharmacy practice, MOST pharmacists undertake community & hospital practice, with a SOME proportion pursuing a career in academia, Research, Drug Regulatory, Laboratory analysts, Medical service, Government & the Pharmaceutical
industries.

GLOBAL HEALTH is defined as the area of study, research & practice that places a priority on IMPROVING HEALTH & achieving EQUITY in Health for ALL people worldwide.

Many developing countries are currently dealing with the issues of both communicable (eg Covid-19)
& non-communicable diseases. The demand for better health is rising as people’s incomes increases.

The SCOPE of work of pharmacists in various settings FACES CHALLENGES of global health such as self-care & self-education, management of diseases through Drug therapy management,
resistance to existing drugs or recreational drugs being abused, medicines supplied through unregistered online pharmacies, online advertising of prescription drugs, direct-to-consumer websites & D distribution of substandard & spurious, falsely-labeled, falsified or counterfeit
medicines.

Thus pharmacists have the POTENTIAL to address emerging global health issues such as health literacy, management of acute and chronic diseases, environmental care, e- Health, impact of global travel on the spread of infectious diseases, mental health, traditional
& herbal medicines, HIV/AIDS], enhance pharmacovigilance, unmet needs of underserving patients & addressing other global burdens of diseases such as neurological disorders.

Also in tailoring interventions to the needs of the vulnerable population such as geriatric care,
adolescent care, pediatric care, maternal care, family planning, people with special needs and palliative care/comfort care.

The purpose of PHARMACEUTICAL CARE is to provide patient- oriented care in an outcome that will improve the patient’s quality of life.
The emerging of the GLOBAL HEALTH PHARMACY aims to define, promote and recommend d need to go beyond d pharmacist’s traditional role of drug dispensing to being an integral part of d health care team.

This will also provide clear insights into s emerging roles of pharmacists in
global health and gauge the level of competencies and perception of pharmacists in adopting this role.
Consequently, the world health governing body initiated a global safety challenge on the overall safety of medication with the intention of reducing the harm that are attributed
to medication errors by 50% globally by the year 2022.

The focus in global health has transcended beyond the idea of confining the pharmacist’s work to a specific geographical location and broadened it to the global level. Based on the findings of this research, it is well
understood dat pharmacists hv taken part in global healthcare initiatives and are well-informed regarding their important functions in global healthcare.

In widening their perspective for them to rise above their traditional roles & accept their emerging roles in global health,
it is imperative that PHARMACISTS look at the varied globally established health careers in medicine and use this as a framework to understand the potential roles of the pharmacist within the global health practice and program delivery, research, and policy.
Therefore, pharmacists must participate in the endeavor to shape their role in global health by changing their perception towards the types of services they can provide, not only in their respective local areas but also at the global level.

1. SQUIRTING is essentially the involuntary emission of URINE during sexual activity, although a marginal contribution of skene's glands secretions to the emitted fluid often exists.
2. Superfecundation:
When a woman has intercourse with 2 different men in a short period of time while ovulating, it's possible for both men to impregnate her separately.

Just last month, a Woman came to the pharmacy with a prescription to get "Chlorpromazine (CPZ) 100mg BID", for her hiccups.

Told her the dosage was pretty too high but she objected.

Fast forward 1 week later, a Man (her husband) came to the Pharmacy to get some drugs..

During the consultation with him, I found out it was the same woman that came a few ago to get CPZ.

He told me that, she was having muscle spams, uncontrollable movements of her body, agitation, restlessness

and that atimes she won't recognize him or the Kids.

Ask him if she's still on the medication (CPZ), he said Yes (since the prescription said for 2 weeks).

Told him not to get the drugs prescribed, because she's only having side effects of the Drug
