I've been trying this past week to fight the gaslighting of the fake media in regards to the Supreme Court. The fake media doesn't want you to know that the court flipped with Kavanaugh. They want you to think the court is 4-4. That's simply not the case.
The court is at worst 4-3 with a right leaning moderate as the Chief Justice at best it's 5-3. In other words, on "most" decisions the court has come down on the right side of aisle all things being equal.
There are some constitutional liberal laws that were passed by a Congress and signed by a President. These laws can't be overturned by a SCOTUS filled with constitutionalists. They have to be repealed by a Congress and a President.
Yes, there have been some " high profile" cases that didn't turn out the way a conservative would think they should and some questionable decisions that were based more on politics than case law IMO. However, this doesn't change the underlying conditions that on most days the
.. court was 5-4 (right vs left) before the death of RBG and on the other days it was 4-4-1. Now with her death it's 5-3 on most days and 4-3-1 on the other days. With ACB confirmed it will change it to 6-3 or 5-3-1.
Since moderates tend to side with the majority, the new court will probably be a consistent 6-3 with the occasional left leaning opinion. The confirmation of ACB will not "flip the court" the court was already flipped. It will cement the court which is a different beast.
The fake media and left wants you to think it will "flip the court" so people get all "wee-weed" up and the left can fund raise and increase voter turnout on the confirmation chaos, but they lost the battle with Kavanaugh.
The confirmation is important but it's not the end all be all that Kavanaugh was. It will constrain the ability of Roberts to moderate the court. It will further block the liberal wing of the court. It will embolden the conservatives on the court. Going forward,
...it could cause some justices to retire early if they feel they have no power on the court, like Breyer or Sotomayor and others to retire, like Thomas and Alito if they feel their loss will not change the court to any degree.
Yes, I know it doesn't seem that important to point this out, but this is how the big lies are formed. This is how the media shapes the debate. This is how narratives are spun. It's easy to concentrate on one or two "big rulings" and shape a narrative that is not the whole
... truth to further a goal. It's hard to take a step back and look at the whole truth and realize all is not what we are being told. I'm not a fan of Roberts. I think his attempt to moderate the court was ill-advised and he would have been better served by history if he would
.....have instead embraced the change that the voters elected Trump and a GOP Senate to usher in. However, not liking a person doesn't mean we should blind ourselves to the truth so that our opponents can use that blindness against us during times like this.
The leaders know the truth. That's why McConnell is pushing ahead quickly. It's why the senators aren't really that concerned with confirming ACB because short term it only at best changes the ability of Roberts to "swing" the court on some political hot button issues.
Which is kind of important but it's not that important that someone would risk their entire career over. Hence, the Mitt and Murcowski back down.

Now you can continue to believe what the fake media has presented too you or take a step back and look at things differently.
As always, think as you will. Your choice of course but I always found it's better to have different opinions on the facts presented.

Think about this for a second. IF Trump only got his previous 240,000 votes that he received in 2016, then he would have lost. Nikki got 298,000 votes very high for an SC primary. It was almost as if some people ran the numbers and decided that ~300k votes would win.
Then Trump blew the doors off with his record-setting votes...if one was looking at it in a conspiracy minded fashion, one could possibly say that the anti-trump faction made a faulty assumption based on where they believed Trump's numbers would fall. 🤔 and instead of
...a successful ambush, they were routed. One could also look and realize that a lot of money was spent in SC to set up that ambush, and a lot of people thought it would work. This would explain all the discombobulated talking heads last night... and big donors pulling out today

People ask if 2020 was rigged, what's to stop them from rigging 2024? Nothing, really. They are already doing it in plan sight with the DOJ& friendly judges, attempts to remove him from the ballot, playing with voting laws, etc. So,some lose hope. However, I look at FL Miami Dade
It was a hot bed of fraud for years until one person was removed. Now it's much better, and it only took the removal of one person and a form resolve to change it. The people doing fraud is a small% based on population. If people are resolved to make fair and free elections
...a thing, then it will happen. If they allow the tiny few to play their games, it won't. There is a lot of hope and evidence that things can be changed by the people being resolved and resolute. There is little hope and little evidence that things change when they aren't.

The Sackett decision is a prime example of the media lying to you. It's was a 9-0 decision. That means every justice conservative, liberal, maga voted to end the reign of terror of the epa with regards to the waters of the US. All 9 did that. But if you read some of the media
...they want you to believe it was a 5-4 decision and that it was a conservative rewrite of the law. Which isn't the case. The court voted 9-0. They differed on what defines a wetland. With 4 people wanting to keep the "nexus" agreement that justice Kennedy made up out of thin..
..air in 2006. Much like the justices came up with Roe arguments to square the circle. The 5 justices rejected that argument, instead stated wetlands had to be "connected" to navigable interstate waterways to fall under federal oversight, while 4 thought the nexus argument could

Let's leave DeSantis out of this equation. When did we as a people accept that it was okay for our leaders to lie constantly to us and then not have any consequences for those lies? Was it Clinton, and his depends on what "is" is?
Or was it before that. I remember Bush saying, "Read my lips no new taxes," then being punished for that lie by not being reelected. But that I think was the last time any major consequences happened to a politician who lied. I mean, that's fine, i guess.
...but if we have come to accept that our leaders are nothing but liars, why do we elect them knowing they are lying and will lie to us? Seems like, I don't know, not a good recipe for success or accountability. Sure, we all hear, "but that's what a politician does." However,

Look, take this for what it is. I try not to be a person who goes around with blinders on. I support President Trump because during his four years, he did more to further the cause of Americaism than any modern president except maybe Reagan.
Did he make some mistakes? Sure. Does he bullshit a lot, sure. But on the other hand, he kept his promises to the best of his ability, fighting the good fight. He loves this country, and he doesn't want a "new world order." He wants America to be the best country and its citizens
.....to have the best standard of living we can have. He tries to put America and all its citizens first regardless of their race, gender or political leaning, and for that, he will continue to have my support. Whereas the vast majority of politicians and leaders put themselves

As you celebrate Earth Day, remember that one of the co-founders of this special day killed his girlfriend and composted her in his closet. Ira Enihorn was the master of ceremonies on that first earth day back in 1970, and though he preached free love& non-violence, he killed...
.....his girlfriend in a fit of rage when she left him, stuffed her battered, beaten body into a trunk in his closet& left her to compost for 18 months. It wasn't until her composted remains leaked out of the trunk and through the ceiling of the person living in the apartment
...below that police discovered the composted body. After his arrest, he did what most good socialists do. He jumped bail, changed his name, and fled to Europe. It took 23 years before they finally got their man. Of course, the other socialists that founded Earth Day, distanced
