Apparently Hillary Clinton had the same information 4 years ago The NY Times does now.
This thing of retreading issues people already decided on 4 years ago get clicks. It probably gets readers. But not sure how it moves voters either way. Trump will be judged on his presidency. Not information given to people on a debate stage an entire election ago.
The current tax return mystery was always about Russia and boy did that disappear fast today.

The last 3 Days has confirmed just every incredible bias of mainstream journalists and journalism.
The Wall Street Journal publishes a story about Trump and Epstein, which, fine, great, might be true; there are questions, but every journalist runs with it without any questions. It's the official on-record published story, so they all believe it's true. No follow-ups.
CBS News terminates Colbert, and the official published CBS explanation is over finances - Colbert was bleeding millions of dollars and sponsors, and every mainstream journalist outlet questions it, on the record, and floats theories of extortion, blackmail or whatnot.
One thing that confirmation bias is true, the other is not.
This has been an extraorindary news cycle proving narratives.
A Murdoch-owned news outlet is being sued by Donald Trump and journalists are celebrating it.
A Murdoch-owned news outlet also published a story about Joe Biden's son's laptop that was factually correct, and none of those same journalists defended it.
Nothing this week has been so illuminating about how lock step the American media is with the Democratic party, than both of how outraged they are over a supposed comedian losing his job, and running with the narrative that it's about authoritarianism.
The most authoritarian act against journalism was the censoring of the NY Post accurate story of the Hunter Biden laptop, and all the journalists outraged at Colbert, are the same ones who remained silent on that one.
The Colbert cancellation is the most illuminating example if not in years, maybe ever, about how mainstream networks and the Democratic party are one and the same.
It's one of the most amazing mask-off moments I've seen in recent history.
As Bulwark writers try to gaslight in my mentions, it's a fun time to remind people that it's a 501c3 funded by progressive donors that also tries to use things like movie reviews and food recipes to cover for that.
And any person who voluntarily participates in that exercise knows exactly what they're doing, even as they try to distant themselves from that kind of craziness. Cash those paychecks,
Substack could use more great movie reviews. Without all the political ickiness
Seems pretty newsy that it's all being revealed the President of the United States was an invalid, and while he was in office, Russia invaded Ukraine and will bog us down for years because of it.
Feel like these are the questions currently being ignored.
Seems pretty newsy that we're learning the President was senile during a catastrophic withdrawal from Afghanistan that saw 13 service members killed and the Taliban back in control.
He took 6 questions in 4 years about it.
This is why the media's role in all of this cannot be washed away after a couple of books.
It's why "Just a couple of aides we aren't going to name" isn't good enough and it's why all of these people need to be hauled in front of Congress.
The opposite is actually happening. The right was calling out the lack of media coverage on Fetterman while he was running and babbling nonsensically through a debate.
The right isn't *defending* John Fetterman. We're just asking about the curious, sudden timing, and neither Chait nor anyone else can answer how he's changed from 2022, to now.
It's about Israel, and EVERYONE knows it. Chait and the media are the ones who have to explain why they didn't cover his health back then, but are so eager to do so now.
All they have to do, Kara Swisher in particular, is answer what's the difference between John Fetterman from 2 years ago, and John Fetterman now.
They won't do it.
No one on the right is actually saying, "John Fetterman is sharp and fit behind closed doors."
We're just noticing the obvious hit job against him.
