Testimony is underway again for this afternoon's session of the #baileyboswelltrial as we continue with Brooklyn McCrystal, Sydney's friend that created a Tinder account to match with "Audrey Cain" or Bailey Boswell. @NTVNEWS
The defense is questioning McCrystal if she knew the person she was contacting, "Audrey Cain," was really even Bailey Boswell.
Making the point that McCrystal had no way to verify who she was really talking to. @NTVNEWS
Next on the stand is Lincoln Police Department Officer Joseph Yandrick, who became involved in the missing person's case for Sydney Loofe. @NTVNEWS
Officer Yandrick was one of the LPD officer's to search Sydney's apartment along with other members of LPD and the Loofes.
He kept an eye of Sydney's apartment in the following days and relayed the picture he received of Boswell to other members of law enforcement. @NTVNEWS
Officer Yandrick was also involved with other family efforts of trying to gain access to her laptop and financial records to see if there was any activity. @NTVNEWS
The 8th witness of the day is Lincoln Police Department Investigator Cameron Cleeland.
He helped to create a timeline and background for Sydney to determine who was the last person to see or speak to her. @NTVNEWS
Cleeland received "Audrey Cain's" phone number from McCrystal and made a couple attempts of contacting her.
He eventually got in contact with "Audrey" who said she was with Loofe but dropped her off at a friends. @NTVNEWS
The first conversation between "Audrey" and Cleeland was not recorded due to the phone's capabilities that she called him back on.
The second conversation was recorded which they discussed the time spent with Loofe and trying to determine more identifying factors. @NTVNEWS
Cleeland says they were unsure if the number they were trying to track was a "burner" phone or an app.
When he did get in touch with "Audrey" or Bailey, he says she was very evasive and didn't want to reveal information about herself because she "had warrants." @NTVNEWS
Saline County Sheriff's Deputy Dylan Semrad now takes over the witness stand as he discusses the part he played in the investigation.
He was involved with gathering more information about the cell phone number for "Audrey" or Bailey Boswell. @NTVNEWS
Semrad discovered the number was from a third party application called Pinger.
He contacted the company who provided more information including a username, email address and IP address.
No luck on the username or email, but the IP was linked to a Verizon account. @NTVNEWS
Semrad contacted Verizon to get further details about the IP address including who was using it and at what time.
Through cross reference of records, he determined the Verizon number associated with the Pinger number..leading them to a direct number for Boswell. @NTVNEWS
Another short and sweet series of questions from the defense as they focus on the IP address being accessible by multiple people. @NTVNEWS
After a short break, the prosecution reveals they've gotten through witnesses quicker than planned.
They will end on nine witnesses for the 4th day of the #baileyboswelltrial. @NTVNEWS

Day 7 of the #baileyboswelltrial is about to begin as we left off with the arrest of Aubrey Trail and Bailey Boswell and the discovery of Sydney Loofe's remains.
Boswell faces three charges related to the murder of Loofe back in November of 2017. @NTVNEWS
Returning to the witness stand is FBI Special Agent Eli McBride.
He testifies about the call he received about the team finding human remains in rural Clay County. @NTVNEWS
McBride says he made it to an area near Edgar, Nebraska on the afternoon of December 4th.
He examined the trash bag that was found, did a walk around the area only to find a severed foot. @NTVNEWS
Day 6 of the #baileyboswelltrial and first on the witness stand is the general manager from the Days Inn in Iowa who recognized Aubrey Trail and Bailey Boswell as they were on the run. @NTVNEWS
Following the general manger on the stand is another hotel employee from Iowa, where she also identified Trail and Boswell around late November of 2017. @NTVNEWS
The hotel clerk Jenny Bloom says she saw a Facebook post with the two suspects while they were still at her hotel.
Bloom then notified law enforcement about their whereabouts. @NTVNEWS
The first witness of day 5 of the #baileyboswelltrial is Saline County Deputy Tom Hudiburgh who was a part of the K9 unit for the team that searched for Sydney Loofe's body. @NTVNEWS
Yesterday, after receiving the phone number for "Audrey Cain" or Bailey Boswell, they found the address connected to the number.
Hudiburgh went to the address in Wilbur, Nebraska to search the home and was welcomed by a strong smell of bleach. @NTVNEWS
Hudiburgh says law enforcement was looking for a person and not anything specific on their initial search of the property.
He says the home appeared "normal." @NTVNEWS
