There is a gathering in Kenton Park and learned that it was the initiation point of a planned unpermitted march. Participants were seen wearing body armor and helmets. Officers observed shields and moved in to take them for safekeeping before they could be used.
Objects were thrown at officers. At least two people have been arrested.
To those gathered at or near Kenton Park: the roadways near Kenton Park remain open to vehicular traffic. Immediately vacate the roadway and proceed to the nearest sidewalk or into Kenton Park.

A small group has gathered at North Precinct, near NE MLK Jr. Blvd and Emerson St. PPB is monitoring. Announcements to the crowd will be echoed on this thread. Some participants of the crowd were vandalizing nearby properties.

A crowd has gathered in the street near intersection of SW 3rd and SW Main. Drivers should avoid the area and the blocks around it.
While this crowd is yelling “Burn the building down,” some individuals in the crowd have lit a dumpster on fire that has been pushed up against the Justice Center.
Portland Police are giving loud speaker announcements to not engage in criminal activity to include vandalism and arson. Warnings have been given to the individuals that if they do so, they are subject to arrest and use of force. This is now an unlawful assembly.
A group of about 100 individuals involved in an autonomous demonstration are marching in the area of City Hall. Individuals are engaging in criminal activity, this is now an Unlawful Assembly. They have been ordered to leave the area heading west.
They have been told to not commit criminal activity to include blocking streets, vandalism, assaults, and arson. Those who engage in criminal activity are subject to arrest and/or use of force.

We are getting reports of a car caravan driving through downtown right now. That could impact traffic for a while.
Weapons and body armor from the person arrested downtown on SW 4th Ave between Jefferson and Columbia Streets. Michael Isaacs, 26, was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on charges of Menacing and Disorderly Conduct in the Second Degree.
A crowd of people is blocking SW 3rd Ave near the Hatfield Courthouse. Find alternate routes.
