Rape is serious and those guilty must be given the severest form of punishment: Want to share some data for the benefit of our Netizens: In the descending order of crime against women in Indian states for every 1 lakh population. Assam: 166, Haryana: 107.5, Odisha: 91.3 (1/3)
Telangana: 87.1, Rajasthan: 75.1, Madhya Pradesh: 73.5, West Bengal: 64.4, Maharashtra: 60.9, Chhattisgarh: 60.5, Kerala 57.5, Uttarpradesh: 55.7. And the least affected states are Nagaland, TN (15.7), Gujarat and Bihar (2/3)
And the crimes that are classified in this data are Rape, Dowry, abetment to suicide, miscarriage, acid attack, cruelty by hus or relative, kidnapping and abduction, assault on women to outrage her modesty. Majority of crimes are sexual offenses. (3/3)

There seems to be some misinformation/confusion basis on the notification released by NPCI on the new transaction fee to be levied on UPI transactions from 1st April 2023.

1. According to ET, the NPCI circular is not in the public domain & people are making opinions basis… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
2. The transaction fee is not applicable for those making UPI payments linked through bank accounts. Most of us make UPI payments in this method.

3. The transaction fee is applicable for UPI payments made thru prepaid instruments. UPI wallet is a prepaid instrument. (2/4)
Why Wallet Transactions?

Small transactions clutter your bank passbook, and there’s a significant load on the bank server after the UPI boom.

Moreover, UPI payments need internet access and cannot be done offline. Digital wallets help you make offline payments.

On October 7, 2021, the Centre announced ₹ 5,000 as a reward to good samaritans who assist & rush road accident victims to hospitals.

Stalin pasted his sticker over it on March 21, 2022.
On January 4, 2018, HUD Minister Hardeep Singh Puri made it mandatory to register PMAY houses in the name of Women.

On March 29, 2022, PM said that thru PMAY, over 20 million women had ownership rights in the country.

Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana was launched on 2015 to standardize skills as per the requirement of work force.

The same was launched in the 2022 Budget by MK Stalin in the name of “Naan Mudhalvan” for the same objective as the Centre’s Scheme.

ஆனால் மார்ச் இறுதி வரை அதிலிருந்து வெறும் 96,000 டன் நிலக்கரியை மற்றும் தமிழக அரசு இறக்குமதி செய்துள்ளது.
நிலக்கரியை தமிழகம் எடுத்த செல்ல 21 ரேக்குகளையும் மத்திய அரசு தமிழக அரசுக்கு ஒதுக்கியுள்ளது.

இதன் மூலம் நாள் ஒன்றுக்குச் சராசரியாக 80,000 டன் நிலக்கரியை இறக்குமதி செய்யமுடியும்.
இதன் இடையே, ஏப்ரல் மற்றும் மே மாத கூடுதல் தேவைக்கு 4.8 லட்ச டன் நிலக்கரியை வெளிநாட்டிலிருந்து ஒரு டன்னுக்கு $137 என்கிற விலைக்கு இறக்குமதி செய்ய போது விடியல் அரசு.

கோல் இந்தியாவின் முதலாம் தர நிலக்கரி விலையை விட இது 21 சதவீத அதிகம்.

Dam Safety Bill, 2019

● This Bill has been pending for the last 34 years due to the negligence of Congress-led UPA Government.

● This Bill in a nutshell aims to bring an uniform safety regulation for dams in the country.
● It mandates creation of State Committee on Dam Safety & State Dam Safety Organisation, as per CAG Report (2008-2016) out of 17 states only 2 states had inspected the conditions of the dams.
● A 1986 Report on Dam Safety Procedures suggested the enactment of a uniform legislation for dam safety.

The 2010 Standing Committee report for Water Resources (Dam Safety Bill, 2010) came up with legislation taking down objections of various states. It was later ignored.
