Chief Ray Navarro of City of Santa Rosa -
Reminder: "It is unlawful to be in these areas and most importantly it is unsafe. We have debris... and continued risk of fire danger."
Garbage, recycling and compost pick up by @RecologySF will begin soon in re-populated areas. Extra bags can be put out by your service bins at no extra cost.
Priority area with Red Flag:
SE area due to NW winds pushing it out of the burn area and into the green (unburned areas). That means buttoning up Sugarloaf Mtn and surrounding area.
#SONOMACOUNTY#GLASSFIRE#GLASSINCIDENT#GLASSFIREINCIDENT
Don't want issues, could mean Oakville Grade/Trinity Road threatened. Firing operation off Adobe Canyon Rd a contingency line in on S ridge from Sugarloaf Park. Dozer line being put in along ridge separating counties.
Someone asked about St. Helena Mtn fire area... by Stevenson Park. Slope, topography, fuels and mild offshore winds are making it most active portion. Priority still. Wants to contain to keep away from Lake Co.

Gov Newsom has said that if ICU and hospitalizations don't stabilize or decline purple counties will go back to stay at home orders again with some modifications. He said they will be assessing the situation in the next day or two. #California#COVID19
That would put 51 counties back on a form of shelter-in-place similar to what we experienced in the spring.
This is via the Gov's daily press conference.
They said they will expect a surge to hit hospitals in the next two weeks in the wake of holiday weekend celebrations.
Right now NorCal (not Bay Area), entire SoCal, and Gold Country are areas of concern.

Smoke is starting to clear = wind surfacing.
Red Flag was extended into Saturday morning.
#GlassFire CAL FIRE evening FB report
EAST ZONE
Fire still hung up on ridges above Calistoga. Hasn't moved further towards City. Good structure defense. Steep terrain and really tough to work in. Very few hand crews available to help, there slower process in building lines.
