Stephanie Davies-Arai, founder of Transgender Trend, told the Mail: 'Jolyon Maugham's comment... is highly irresponsible. Yet sadly this kind of claim is widely used by trans activists who assert that blockers are 'life saving'.'
'There is in fact no evidence that blockers have any positive effect on mental health, as shown by the Cass Review. What is harmful for children is to be repeatedly told that if they don't get what they want they will die.
This is a dangerous message to give to children who are suggestible and may be emotionally vulnerable.
Maugham is objecting to sensible government measures to protect children from rogue outfits like GenderGP, who prescribe off-label drugs to vulnerable children without proper assessment or monitoring.
"Around 87 per cent of the participants had urinary symptoms such as incontinence, frequent toilet visits and bed-wetting, while 74 per cent had bowel issues including constipation or being unable to hold stools or wind in. Some 53 per cent suffered from sexual dysfunction."
"The researchers said the rate of urinary incontinence, where urine unintentionally leaks, was around three times higher in transgender men than women, affecting around one in four compared to eight per cent of the general female population."
This is the full story of how Stonewall tried everything they could to silence us, with defamation and lies that people believed because Stonewall was a respected authority (at the time).
"Regrettably, I believe there is a straight line between the BBC’s capitulation to extreme trans rights ideologues and the disturbing findings in Dr Hilary Cass’s 388-page report."
We agree. Particularly in the relentless propaganda towards children.
2/ In a series of emails in 2021 we attempted to get a meeting with Tim Davie, and we ensured our emails did actually get to him. We never received a reply from him.
3/ In this post we did a round-up of all the ways the BBC was indoctrinating children with trans activist propaganda, through all their channels. And we documented the role of All About Trans in influencing CBeebies and CBBC.
Important new study on the impact of blockers on IQ.
"Critical questions remain unanswered regarding the nature, extent and permanence of any arrested development of cognitive function that may be associated with pharmacological blocking of puberty."
"puberty is characterised by both regressive and progressive stages of brain development. Unlike earlier developmental milestones, many of these processes are associated with pubertal stage rather than chronological age and hormonal regulation plays an important part in these developments."
"The prefrontal cortex undergoes significant rewiring during puberty, with corresponding behavioural changes in associated executive functions including impulse control, decision making and goal directed behaviours."
Gillian Keegan says 16-17 yr-olds should be able to "change their pronouns" with parental consent,
because "people have the right to their own identity" and "at 18 you can do what you want."
Hardly reassuring for parents.
Let's unpick this. 1/ telegraph.co.uk/politics/2023/…
2/ We hear a lot of obfuscating language that obscures the reality, but "changing your pronouns" takes the biscuit. Is that all the teenage girl is doing as she books her double mastectomy? "I'm just changing my pronouns mum, chill!" She'll be 18 by then so it doesn't matter.
3/ It is not the child who uses the pronouns. "Changing pronouns" is a demand on every other child in the school, along with teachers and other parents, to use wrong sex pronouns. A child does not have the right to impose their belief on others (nor does their parent).
