Day 7 of the #baileyboswelltrial is about to begin as we left off with the arrest of Aubrey Trail and Bailey Boswell and the discovery of Sydney Loofe's remains.
Boswell faces three charges related to the murder of Loofe back in November of 2017. @NTVNEWS
Returning to the witness stand is FBI Special Agent Eli McBride.
He testifies about the call he received about the team finding human remains in rural Clay County. @NTVNEWS
McBride says he made it to an area near Edgar, Nebraska on the afternoon of December 4th.
He examined the trash bag that was found, did a walk around the area only to find a severed foot. @NTVNEWS
Shortly after they found a severed upper arm with a tattoo saying, “Everything will be wonderful someday.”
This tattoo matched Sydney Loofe’s. @NTVNEWS
He says the weather was brutal that day and as it began getting dark, they called off the search and would come back early the next day. @NTVNEWS
“We knew were going to be looking for additional evidence and body parts, but just didn’t know where,” said McBride.
The team formed a grid search formation in an effort to find the other missing body parts on December 5th. @NTVNEWS
The locations of some of the trash bags had appeared to be moved as they arrived on the scene December 5th. McBride says predator activity looked to be the blame. @NTVNEWS
While showing evidence of the severed body parts, Bailey Boswell appears to be upset as she lowers her head and refuses to look at the remains being shown. @NTVNEWS
Tears are being shed by Boswell as she wipes away her tears with a tissue.
McBride continues testifying about the sections of Loofe's body that have been discovered and where they were severed. @NTVNEWS
A copy of a Google map is being shown with markers of the approximate spots the remains and other bits of evidence, like the bed sheet and blood stained tarp, were located. @NTVNEWS
Following the map, Townsend describes a few more details about each area and what they found. @NTVNEWS
McBride says they bounced around the area and didn't find each piece of evidence "in order" according to the line of evidence spots that are seen on the map. @NTVNEWS
In photos of scene 7, several items of clothing were found.
On a pair of pants with stars, McBride notes the thread color was a dark blue but the rest was an orange color, possibly due to heavy amounts of bleach. @NTVNEWS
McBride and the prosecution are continuing to walk through photo evidence from the different scenes.
Anything from trash bags with parts of Loofe's remains to a case of a machete.
The machete was not located. @NTVNEWS
McBride describes at one of the scenes, several items were located including a black trash bag, another tarp, a pink animal leash, cut up pieces of clothing, and a box for sauna suits. @NTVNEWS
Sauna suits, yellow latex gloves, torn boxes for latex gloves, and duct tape were also found in the pile of items at scene 15, according to McBride. @NTVNEWS
A white Columbia fleece jacket was found at scene 16. Sydney Loofe is shown wearing the same jacket in her snapchat photo saying, "Ready for my date." @NTVNEWS
McBride says Loofe's body was cut into 14 pieces but only 13 were recovered.
The team was never able to find other part of her upper arm. @NTVNEWS
McBride says an autopsy was completed on Loofe's body December 7th. @NTVNEWS
An additional search of the Wilber apartment was done on December 19th in an effort to find any evidence of Loofe, according to McBride. @NTVNEWS
He says they spent about nine and a half hours at the Trail and Boswell residence.
A book titled "the human body atlas" was found on the couch of the apartment. @NTVNEWS
"Heavy duty" zip ties, hair dye, and a note with a name and address for an alias that Boswell used were also collected.
Photo evidence then revealed pictures of the ceiling and insulation removed. @NTVNEWS
McBride says they found a tin box containing life insurance documents for Trail amongst a few other papers. @NTVNEWS
Coming back from lunch, McBride continues testifying about the search done on the Wilber residence. @NTVNEWS

Day 6 of the #baileyboswelltrial and first on the witness stand is the general manager from the Days Inn in Iowa who recognized Aubrey Trail and Bailey Boswell as they were on the run. @NTVNEWS
Following the general manger on the stand is another hotel employee from Iowa, where she also identified Trail and Boswell around late November of 2017. @NTVNEWS
The hotel clerk Jenny Bloom says she saw a Facebook post with the two suspects while they were still at her hotel.
Bloom then notified law enforcement about their whereabouts. @NTVNEWS
The first witness of day 5 of the #baileyboswelltrial is Saline County Deputy Tom Hudiburgh who was a part of the K9 unit for the team that searched for Sydney Loofe's body. @NTVNEWS
Yesterday, after receiving the phone number for "Audrey Cain" or Bailey Boswell, they found the address connected to the number.
Hudiburgh went to the address in Wilbur, Nebraska to search the home and was welcomed by a strong smell of bleach. @NTVNEWS
Hudiburgh says law enforcement was looking for a person and not anything specific on their initial search of the property.
He says the home appeared "normal." @NTVNEWS
Testimony is underway again for this afternoon's session of the #baileyboswelltrial as we continue with Brooklyn McCrystal, Sydney's friend that created a Tinder account to match with "Audrey Cain" or Bailey Boswell. @NTVNEWS
The defense is questioning McCrystal if she knew the person she was contacting, "Audrey Cain," was really even Bailey Boswell.
Making the point that McCrystal had no way to verify who she was really talking to. @NTVNEWS
Next on the stand is Lincoln Police Department Officer Joseph Yandrick, who became involved in the missing person's case for Sydney Loofe. @NTVNEWS
