Before the endless news cycle moves on, I want to take a moment to focus on Kimberly Guilfoyle. A THREAD. Most of this is from this article newyorker.com/news/news-desk… 1/

The article facts about KG from time at Fox: she preyed on a just-out-of-college intern by forcing her to come to her apartment where KG worked naked; KG showed her dic pics of sexual partners AND FANS; KG made intern massage her naked thighs; KG talked sexploits; /2

KG also told young intern to "to submit to a Fox employee’s demands for sexual favors, encouraged her to sleep with wealthy and powerful men, asked her to critique her naked body, demanded that she share a room with her on business trips, required her to sleep over" /3

KG SHARED this intern with male co-worker Eric Bolling WHO ALSO ABUSED INTERN. Bolling's abuse of others was the subject of an investigation, so KG tried to get intern TO COVER UP abuse by Bolling and KG /4

During cover-up phase, KG asked intern what she would say about harassment; threatened to reveal embarrassing secrets and offered to reward her with as much as $1,000,000 for lying or to give her an "on-air" segment and professional advancement. /5

New Yorker reporter Jane Meyer confirmed that KG associates did call her with embarrassing personal details in an effort to smear the intern before publication of the story - which corroborates the victims account. /6

The intern recounted "Guilfoyle had been dismissive about her complaints... had discouraged her from speaking to Fox’s human-resources department, and had pointed to her own career, claiming that she had had sexual encounters with powerful figures at Fox herself." /7

Another source at FOX "“Kim was kind of like one of the guys, the way they used to operate,” the former colleague told me. Another former co-worker of Guilfoyle’s recalled, “It was always about sex and guys with her. She didn’t hide it—she’d almost flaunt it." /8

Per that source, Kim was like "one of the guys" during the time that dozens of women came forward about harrassment; Bill O'Reilly and Ailes were toppled; and millions were paid out to victims. KG's victim received MORE THAN $4,000,000. /9

Before I get to my bigger thoughts on Trumpism, let me say this: Women can do whatever they want with their bodies and their relationships. No one, however, should be forcing their nudity or conquests or co-workers on their employees, however. No one. /10

NO IMAGINE YOU KNOW ALL OF THE ABOVE ABOUT KIM GUILFOYLE AND YOU CHOOSE TO BRING HER TO THE WH, MAKE HER PUBLIC GIRLFRIEND OF POTUS'S SON; CO-CHAIR OF FINANCE OF CAMPAIGN AND FACE OF "WOMEN FOR TRUMP." /11

I mean seriously, take a moment to think about that. /12

So she's at WH and lives with Dum Jr (I guess) where she is exposed to all manner of sensitive information that would be interesting to foreign spies; financial pump and dumpers; and evils generally AND SHE IS HIDING A SEX ABUSE SCANDAL THAT SCREAMS OF "GHISLAINE" TYPE ABUSE /13

And Dum Jr needs a public GF since his wife won't play along anymore, and IN HIS JUDGMENT the best choice is a woman with a major sex-scandal on her resume and NOW THEY'RE BOTH MAJOR CAMPAIGN SURROGATES. /14

And Dum Jr is so sure conservatives have abandoned all principles that his divorcing his wife and shacking up with an abuser/divorcee who is too filthy to even stay at Fox News - IN HIS JUDGMENT - is not a risk worth worrying about. /15

And the Trump Campaign - who has already had several major financial scandals - doesn't worry that a woman who is morally dead and subject to blackmail - IS IN CHARGE OF THEIR FINANCES and fundraising /16

And the Trump Campaign - which supposedly is courting the suburban mom vote - has a Women for Trump spokesperson who encourages interns to sleep their way to the top and was "one of the guys" in Fox News' creepiest/rapiest heyday. AND THEY CHOSE THAT. /17

This isn't like Ivanka, who I guess comes with the family all you can eat deal at the Cracker Barrel. THEY CHOSE GUILFOYLE out of all the women in America. She was their pick. /18

(Actualy it is kind of like Ivanka, because as best I can ascertain her marriage is entirely transactional as well)

Let's talk KG as woman who can theoretically reach other american women voters. She married and divorced Gavin Newsome, now CA governor. Married and divorced Eric Villency, furniture heir ($); slept with famous Fox news people in her career; and is now paid by campaign. /19

I don't really judge women on selecting powerful or wealthy men, but that's a pattern that definitely supports the hypothesis that her "relationship" with Don Jr. IS A TRANSACTION. That's weird shit, not a great american love affair. /20

And the Trump brain trust decided she - OF ALL WOMEN - was the one to bring out in prime time in front of the american people to do this: /21

And so, she can go on about being a horrible person and that's fine I don't care ... BUT the fact that the Trumpists knowing chose her above all other women in the nation to be a face of the campaign MAKES ME SICK. Dirk out.
