2) Trump is endangering not just political staff who want to work for him, but career staff who work in the building and Secret Service agents who have to guard him night and day.
When Trump travels, that anti-mask culture travels with him.
Trump seems to have understood the dangers -- at least to himself -- as he has put others' health and lives at risk.
Finally, and truly mystifyingly, knowing he'd been around someone who had tested positive, Trump WENT AHEAD TO A FUNDRAISER AT HIS GOLF COURSE!
No, actually, finally this time: A far bigger consequence of Trump's mendacity and ignorance and demonstrated selfishness in this pandemic is the 208,000 who have died.
Had Trump handled this like Angela Merkel in Germany, that number would only be 40,000.huffpost.com/entry/trump-sh…

The press secretary is tossing out ad hominem attacks, hoping to discredit me and HuffPost.
So here is some actual context: I’ve been doing this professionally for a dozen years before she was even born.
My first job out of college was at the Middletown Times Herald Record in upstate New York. As a young reporter, you are assigned to work Saturdays, and it was your job to scrounge up a story to fill the hole for “live” news.
One Saturday, the only thing going on was that the Air Guard unit at Stewart was honoring this lady who written an ode to the C-5A transport plane. So, I wrote about the lady’s poem about C-5As. I wrote 10 column inches about that poem, because the hole was a 10-inch hole.
The United States military has now killed 14 people in international waters in the SE Caribbean in the past two weeks on extremely vague assertions that they were transporting drugs to the U.S.
HuffPost sent the following questions to DoD:
1) What ports did the boats leave from? 2) What were their next destinations? 3) What were their locations at the time of the attacks? 4) Which US vessels and aircraft were involved in the strikes?
5) It has been stated that the vessels were en route the USA. What is the basis for that assertion? Neither was large enough to carry enough fuel to make it much beyond Trinidad. 6) What were the names and nationalities of those aboard?
NEW -- Exactly 10 days after taking the oath early this year, Donald Trump nearly drowned dozens, potentially hundreds, of his own citizens in California’s Central Valley.
Why?
Because he is one of the most ignorant people you will ever meet.
Most people have probably heard about his claims to have solved LA's wildfire problem by "opening up" a giant valve.
Many know that this is complete nonsense, that the billions of gallons of water he released were completely wasted and not a drop got to Los Angeles.
But very few know just how insanely reckless and dangerous this stunt really was. People could have drowned. And it was only because the Army Corps of Engineers heeded the pleas of local water officials and did not follow Trump's instructions to the letter that no one did.
This is just the latest example of his using the imprimatur of the presidency for his own personal benefit.
In April, he flew Air Force One from Palm Beach to Miami International Airport and then took a Marine Corps helicopter to his Doral golf resort less than two miles away.
Donald Trump is giving the commencement address at the United States Military Academy wearing his campaign hat.
Trump finished his meandering speech in which he attacked his predecessors, bragged about his election win, talked about trophy wives … then he left, claiming he had to deal with Russia and China.
It is traditional for the president at academy commencements to congratulate each cadet.
That part of the ceremony is now happening without him.
