Dear Guys,

This is what it means when you say “I love you to a lady “

I will show you 10 things .

A thread .
1. I love you means that you will put her needs and desires above yours . She will be first and you second . You will do things you don’t love to do so as to please her . You will consider her needs before you consider yours . It means sacrifice and selflessness .
2. It means that when she is sad or not in a good place emotionally you will be there till she comes out of it . You will inquire and seat in silence with if need be . It will annoy you and drive you crazy but it may be what she needs you to do .
3. I love you means going out by 11pm when she is 6months pregnant and all of a sudden wants to eat ice cream or ewa agoyin. It means you will go and get that silly thing (in your own eyes) she asks for even when not convenient.
4. I love you means saying sorry first and never seeking to win the argument . It means being ok with being wrong when she insists you are even though you know she is not right . You understand that she will get it later but for right now you don’t need to win .
5. I love you is when you choose to wait till you are married before you touch her sexually . Even though every part of you wants to have her . Love means you wait till you can both express yourself sexually with a good conscience.
6. I love you means that you will root for her and “blow her trumpet “ when she feels she isn’t up to a task . It means you make her feel that there is no challenge too difficult for her to surmount .
7. I love you means cooking at home from time to time as she allows you . It is changing the baby’s diapers . It is baby sitting . It is letting her rest and go out with her friends during weekend . It is letting her also live .
8. I love you is trusting her to be loyal to you and your marriage or relationship. It is trusting her word that who she says someone is to her is who they are to her . I love you also means I trust you and believe in your integrity .
9. I love you also means that I am okay with you not choosing me even if I have chosen you . I am okay with letting you go if you don’t think I am the best for you . I love you means I am here for your happiness and if I cannot be the source of it I am hoping you find another .
10. I love you means I will not divorce or separate from you ! I will always be by your side whether I am happy or sad . I will be constant and stable . You will not have to look for me . I will be there . I love you is a commitment! I love you is a covenant.
So brothers , be careful how you say “I love you “ . Understand exactly what you are saying . I love you is a heavy statement. Do not use it carelessly !

Understanding the New birth .

Many times we have heard this exhortation “ Be born again !” Or you even hear people say things like “ let’s get you born again “ .

The idea these phrases communicate is that there is a formulae to the new birth and a sinner can just be born again
by his own will .

What does the Bible actually say ?

John 3:3-5
3   Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4   Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old?
can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

The phrase “ be born “ is the Greek word “gennethe “

Channels of my Spirit

I will be honest .

I had objections to the term “channels of my spirit “ was used by Dunsin Oyekan when he first released this song .

I also spoke to my choir head not to sing it in our churches at the time
I had noticed a recent influence of certain middle eastern terms with certain gospel musicians .
I mean terms like “portals” ,“ascend”, “vibrations “,“energy” etc .
However ,I had to take a closer look at the lyrics of this particular song and give the writer the benefit of doubt
So what are the channels of the spirit ?

Does the spirit of man have channels ?

What is a channel ?
A channel is a gateway into a place . It is a means of accessing a place .

How to deal with Porn addiction .

Let me start by saying that porn addiction is not a morality issue . It is a neurological issue . I didn’t say porn isn’t a moral issue , I said “porn addiction “ isn’t a moral issue .

A lot of shame and guilt
surrounds this addiction especially in the Christian community that most people suffer in silence .

Studies have shown in surveys of even clergy , that a high percentage of ministers are porn addicts . Now imagine what the percentage must be for the regular church guy .
One major challenge within the Christian community as it regards porn is that we have spiritualized it . We have made it about demons of lust because of the compulsive component of it without us understanding how addictions work .

Britain ( Britannia ) , France ( Franchia ) , Sweden , Iceland ( Vikings) where all idol worshippers when Ethiopia was a Christian Nation .

There where African Christians in the scriptures.
You have Simon the “Nigger “ in Acts 13:1 -3 who was from Cyrene . You had the Ethiopian eunuch who took the gospel to the nation and led his Queen Candace to Christ . The Ethiopian church even had a pope as far back as the third century !

Don’t make the marriage about your needs , your dreams alone . You must be ready to sacrifice for your significant other in the marriage . A self-centred man will frustrate his wife .

1. Secrecy - There is a difference between being private and being secretive . Anyone who doesn’t want people to know you are dating may have somethings they are hiding . It’s ok to be private but alarm bells should ring where there is secrecy .
2. Barter - The relationship is almost always about what is being exchanged . While there will be exchanges in every relationship, an undue focus on this will indicate that someone is there for something they can get and not what they can give .
