This is Honorable Baffa Aliyu Misau. I knew this man when I was an undergraduate student in ATBU Bauchi. He was a state assembly member at that time. Today, he represents Misau/Dambam Federal Constituency. Something that caught my attention about him was his unrelenting
support to his constituents regarding their academic endeavor. I remember at that time, he was giving scholarship to some of our friends that had 3.50 CGPA & above, what was enough to pay their tuition fee & some pocket money every semester. That has supported a lot that today
some work in NNPC, some have PhD, some are senior officers in different government parastatals. I met him few weeks ago in Abuja during a function & I reminded him how what he did to our friends has helped them grow in life, & encouraged him to do more.
Please take it easy with so many of us, especially lately. Husbands are going through a lot, especially with the inimical economic situation in the country. Nobody says you shouldn't ask for your rights. But please be considerate. This young man sent me DM some days
ago. He has been a fan whom we have been following each other with for long on Twitter. I am posting this with his knowledge. His wife of 7 years, & mother to his two kids has been given him hell since he lost his job last year. He isn't a lazy man, so he still goes out to make
efforts and bring whatever little he finds. Life has been on a Rollercoaster ride since he lost his job. Imagine from earning ₦350k monthly to not sure of having anything because there is no job!
Allahul Musta'an😢.
Sometimes, she will pick the kids from school & head to
A Series of Reminders About The Month of Ramaḍān - No.3
A Widespread Weak Du'ā For Ifṭār
As Ramaḍān is approaching, something I would like to bring to attention is the Du'ā at the time of Ifṭār (breaking fast) which is common and widespread amongst people,
🚫 “Allaahuma Laka Ṣumtu Wa ‘Alaa Rizqika Afṭartu” (O Allāh I fasted for you and I broke it upon which you’ve provided me with) 🚫
This Du'ā has been declared weak by Muḥaddithīn such as Ibn Ḥajar, an-Nawawī, adh-Dhahabī, Ibn al-Qayyim, ash-Shawkānee, al-Albānī and others.
As for the correct Du'ā for Ifṭār it is as follows:
✔ Dhahab aẓ-Ẓama`u Wabtallatil ‘Urooq Wa Thabat al-Ajru In Shaa Allaah (The thirst is gone, the veins are moistened and the reward is confirmed, if Allāh wills) ✔ ⬅
Are you an auto mechanic, a brick layer, carpentar, plumber or even a cobbler? You are an important part of the entire value chain, hence everyone that has an issue related to your skills would come to you. If you do good, you benefit & the society also benefits.
If you decide to be dishonest, cony & deceptive, the first person that loses is you. That person that brings his car to you for repairs does so on trust. Why cheat the person or swindle him of his resources after he pays you for your services? That man or woman that wants to fix
her watertaps at home needs your services, and you need the money to also keep moving. What is hard in being honest in your services?
That SMALL amount of money you earned via dupping or cheating won't last you a lifetime however HUGE it is to you. But the curse you incur will.
Do you know that Carbon Fire Market would be worth $8.9 Billion by 2031?
Reminds me of the story of a 24 year old Nigerian, Mr. Jerry Malum, an indigene of Plateau State Nigeria.
A report on "Carbon Fiber Market by Raw Material (PAN, Pitch), Fiber Type (Virgin, Recycled), Product Type, Modulus, Application (Composite, Non-composite), End-use Industry (A & D, Automotive, Wind Energy) and Region - Global Forecast to 2031", is expected to grow
from USD 3.7 billion in 2020 to USD 8.9 billion by 2031, at a CAGR of 8.6% during the forecast period. The carbon fiber market is growing due to its increasing demand from the aerospace & defense, automotive, and wind energy industries.
