Glad I didn't write on this topic last Sunday as originally planned, because a LOT has happened since.
Sharing my thoughts on what might happen in the coming months.
Let's see how it goes ..
First and foremost, I assume you would have gone thru what the Army Chief said. If not, then do watch the one-minute long video of the Chief addressing his troops before moving ahead.
Do note the key words that he mentions.
Now the reason this short clip of the Army Chief piqued my interest was the fact that he wasn't the first one or the only one from the highest echelons speaking thus.
In fact, the first such instance was Prime Minister himself when he promised the Navy their dues in next round! Image

Today is the 40th anniversary of the bombing of Air India 'Kanishka' by Canada based terrorists. Replugging some thoughts on the same.
Canada, this one will haunt you till time's end.Image
Letting out some thoughts and some facts when it came to Western nations not merely looking away at terrorism aimed at India in the 70s, 80s and the 90s, but in cases, actually encouraging it.
This state sponsored terror from West cost us dearly then, and costs us dearly even now
70s - 90s were not very popular years for Govt of India in Western capitals. At best, they looked away when it came to matters that were detrimental to Indian interests and at worst, they actively fomented trouble within Indian borders.
Primary reason was that the ..

Folks, sharing some thoughts on recent and current events in near and far neighbourhood.
A lot of thoughts entangled in a web .. let me see how it goes
This report from some days ago is a good start point:

US Centcom Chief very enthusiastically licking Pakistan's unwashed backside!

Whenever such a news comes by, the first thought that goes through one's head is, what are they planning!
In this case, it was quite obvious that Iran was the target, as events proved within days.
But I will come to that in a while.

Folks, sharing some thoughts on the recent statement by the CDS in Singapore regarding potential losses of IAF aircraft during Op Sindoor.
This will be a short thread.
Here goes ..
At the outset, I offer my heartiest congratulations to Paakis for their spectacular victory in Kargil where they brought down three IAF aircraft and for the even more FANTASTIC victory of 1971 wherein they shot down anywhere between 45 - 65 IAF aircraft!
There's a video as well! Image
In the same vein, I also offer my heartfelt commiserations to my fellow Indians who are beating their chests and doing R@ndi Rona about having lost Op Sindoor because IAF lost some aircraft!

This day in 1999, a young Captain by the name of Manoj Kumar Pandey was going gung ho, clearing Paakis in Khalubar.
Little would he have have known that he had just about 43 days more in this world, before he attained martyrdom, and with it, immortal fame .. Image

Folks, sharing some thoughts on the ceasefire with Pakistan announced last night. Let's see how it goes ..

At the outset, I will say what we have done to Pakistan is simply unimaginable. To that I will also add, Picture Abhi Baaki Hai!

Let me try and explain how ..
Very aptly named Operation Sindoor, it avenged #PahalgamTerrorAttack with brute force.
However, let me go back in time and start from the situation post-Kargil

1999 : IC 814 Hijack. We released three terrorists.
2001 : Parliament Attack. We mobilized, but didn't attack.
2002 : Kaluchak Attack. They killed 2-month old babies at point blank range. We didn't retaliate. Op Parakram continued.
2005 : Delhi Bombings. 60+ dead. No retaliation.
2006 : Mumbai Train Bombings. 200+ dead. No retaliation.
