Who is SHEIKH UMARUL FUTI and his students ?

Sheikh Futi was the pathfinder of Sufi mysticism in West Africa. He was a great warrior and a renowned scholar who called people to the path of Allah—UMAR BIN SA’ID FUTI , he was born 1213 AH (1796).

He delved into the ocean of knowledge; Law, languages and literatures, until He became One who calls to Islam and restoration. Then He met some of the Tijjaniyat leaders and accepted the Darika from them.

When He travelled for Hajj, He met Khalifa Sheikh Muhammad Ghali inside Kaaba. They had been friends for three years. Then He returned to Africa, calling people to Allah, after He left Haramain. #ShaykhTijani

A number of students tilted around him. He led many different battles against Heathenism, Christianity and French colonists in Senegal 🇸🇳 and other neighbouring countries.

He continue propagating Islam is West Africa despite many antagonistic systems that fought him in that time. As if their detestation was a fuel to the engine, a Hundred of thousands converted to Islam in his hand and the hands of his followers...

A chunk of them followed Tijjani path.
Despite being inundated with the encumbrance of Jihad, Da’awat and expeditions, He’s still engrossed in teaching knowledge— He opened many schools in which leaders and scholars emerged.

He published assorted number of books from different fields. The most famous of them was

He died 😪 1282 AH (1864). His son, Sidi Ahmad Kabir succeeded him. He completed the work of his father. He died (1317) AH

Among his famous students were, Al-mukhtar Bn wadi’atulAllah and Muhammad Bn Uthman the author of the book ( Hismul Jidal)

And also, among the people that stayed focused in Umarul futi’s path were his grandchild, Sheikh Sai’du Noor Bn Noor Tal Bn Alhaj Umar.

He was born in Monjo, khayi in Mali🇲🇱, and He’s also the tenth grandchild of the king لسنتجتاكيتا a renowned king of Mali 🇲🇱. Also the second grandchild of the Mujahid Shehu Usman dan Fodi, who reformed Islam in Nigeria 🇳🇬.

After Sheikh Tal memorised Qur’anul Kareem, He dived into the ocean of knowledge, mastering Sharia, literature and parlance. He mastered many languages and the dialects. Then He became friend to Alhaji Malik Sah for good 20 years. Malik married off his daughter Khadija to Tal..

And accepted Tijani path from him. Tal succeeded him after his departure 1922.

Sheikh Tal lived for 116 years. Born 1864 and died 1980.
He’s well known for his work in Islam and his fights against the evil of colonialism. Owing to his fight for human rights.....

Tal was celebrated around the world. He won 43 medals of honour from different parts of the world. He embarked on more than fifty travelings and He was the leader of West African pilgrims.
