2/ It doesn't have to take more than an hour if you're honest and concise. Tell us the state of the world, the good and the bad, and use plain language.
3/ We invest in people. Focus more on the team, than the tech.
4/ The team video is often where people get stuck. It shouldn't be hard. Just face a light or window, no high-quality production needed, and tell us about who you are, how the team met, and why you're awesome. Don't pitch. (You'll get to do that later). Just be yourself.
5/ A low resolution product video with an ugly UI is 100x better than a marketing video with custom-produced music and sound effects.
6/ Choose the accelerator which makes the most sense to you, but don't worry if they all appeal to you. We collaborate in the background to find you the best-fit.
7/ Traction doesn't have to mean funding, revenue, or even signups. It could be progress on a prototype, surveys, LOI's, etc. Just show us some form of validation.
8/ Never say you don’t have any competition.
