Spend some time learning about the Tongva, the original inhabitants of Los Angeles. latimes.com/projects/la-me…
Long before the development of Los Angeles, Southern California was known for its grasslands, estuaries and oak-covered foothills.

The original people of Los Angeles, the Tongva, defined it as their "world" or "Tovaangar." latimes.com/projects/la-me…

“There’s an expression up here, ‘A fed bear is a dead bear.’ Because once they get habituated, it’s a danger to the bear,” preservationist John Fusco said. latimes.com/travel/story/2…

Questions were raised over the weekend, when a Newport Beach Republican official posted a photo of himself next to a metal delivery box marked “official ballot drop off box.” The container was not, however, provided or overseen by elections officials.
