If there was an easier way for ppl to confess to not giving a single shit about poor ppl, addicted ppl, mentally ill ppl, shut-ins, ppl with chronic illnesses, ppl with no indoor plumbing, ppl with disabilities & really just consider them invisible, i don't know what it wld be

And all of the hundreds of things I cant even think of. Ppl could not understand, because it took a convoluted explanation, why i couldn't drive & why it meant i had to quit my job & was stuck miles away from food stores & all things with no bus within miles

And truth be told, a lot of ppl didn't care & didnt want to hear anything that complicates just cheering for the solution that has absolutely no negative repercussions on anyone therefore no need to consider them

Still not over ppl trying to paint gym closures as only a problem for bourgee white ppl who do zumba because theyre too privileged & sheltered to know that there are tons of ppl that now needed somewhere to shower

And yeah the reason I couldn't drive didn't have to be that way, I was being bullied & threatened by the cops. There also should have been some way for someone with an out of state license to get a Washington license, without waiting for months, for some ppl a lot can happen

I STILL wouldn't have a Washington license, & the tags I needed but couldn't get without that, if ppl hadn't helped me. I had to go to Yakima for my appointment & by then all my savings was gone having spent the last of it on grocery deliveries.

Theres still probably ppl around here who were caught up in the same thing that haven't been able to get it all back together. But yee-haw shut it all down, too bad losers, you should have saved up for a rainy day

I think about the clients I used to work with now THESE are vulnerable ppl. They needed some service every day. They needed help getting there, & making these appointments, & ppl checking on them all the time, & someone to bring a food box, & every day accessing all kinds of >

services & needed help getting some paperwork, or ID,or energy assistance, or a coat,or hadnt had their blood sugar checked that day, on & on.A lot of ppl only survive because there r a lot of agencies & services helping them to navigate the things that you dont even think about

Not everyone only leaves their house to go to a comfortable office job, to yoga classes, Starbucks and for drinks. Not everyone can order groceries to be delivered.

Everyone said "well we shut down and then we demand these services be done differently" but you know what? You didn't do that. Everything shut down & instead you made memes about Karens not wearing masks & pretended those were the only ppl having trouble.

What happened to all those ppl who were put into hotels ("since they're empty anyway") & everyone patted themselves on the back because now they were "housed"? No glowing articles were published when they all were dumped back outside so I guess no news is good news right?
