On Blank's statement about Ryan future up to new coaches: That's part of playing in this league. When you're 0-5, everybody is playing for their jobs. The nature of a production based business. I'm no different. I completely understand it. I have to do my part.

Message to other guys who haven't gone through this before: "Everybody rents their lockers." You're playing for your livelihood. You're auditioning for every organization in the league. You are what you put on tape. Have to but through the BS and put it on film.

He talked to him yesterday. As good of a person as you can find. Upbeat conversation. He's an optimist at heart. A friend he'll have for his life. Learned a lot from him: leadership, relationships.
