.@MaElviraSalazar interviews with the Miami Herald ed board. I'll tweet highlights here:
Salazar says she'll donate her congressional salary if elected. Rick Scott and Donald Trump do the same.
Salazar also attacked @DonnaShalala's stock transactions, which were not disclosed properly, but does not have any evidence to back up a claim in her TV ad that Shalala profited from the coronavirus
Salazar repeats that she will use her congressional office as an employment center if elected, and will spend most of her MRE to run it.
Salazar: "If you like your Obamacare, you keep your Obamacare."
Salazar says Shalala doesn't spend enough time in the district: "During the pandemic she had to hide or stay locked up in her apartment because she’s an elderly while I was out there handing food out."
Salazar also says Shalala's constituent services have been "dismal" and said she's talked to dozens of people who couldn't get help from her office.
Salazar, on Obamacare lawsuit: "I am going to be a member of Congress, I’m not the presidency and I’m not in the courts. That’s all I can talk about. I have no comment right now because I haven’t seen the lawsuit."
Salazar says the main thing that's changed between 2018 and 2020 is Democrats moving leftward "Between '18 and '20 the Democratic party has changed. Radical forces have been able to control the mind and soul of the party."
