The DDM was launched by President Ramaphosa in Sept 2019 as an “all of government” approach aimed at achieving the constitutional goal of cooperative governance through strengthening of intergovernmental coordination in the planning, budgeting and implementation of programmes.
The DDM therefore seeks to institutionalise long-term planning, integrate service delivery and maximising the impact of public expenditure at a district and local level, with the development of One Plan for all 44 districts and 8 Metropolitan Municipalities. #DDM #KHAWULEZA
Today's inauguration establishes the District Development Forum for Harry Gwala which will be responsible for developing One Plan for the district working with all spheres of government from national to local. #OneDistrict #OneBudget #OnePlan #DDM
