She's an access journalist who reliably foregrounds Trump's own bogus narratives and whose "critiques" of those narratives are carefully framed to be visible primarily to the already-converted, and often require close reading to detect. People are tired of it.
A lot of elite pundit types think the rest of us are too stupid to understand what she's doing, but we do understand it. We just don't care. It's a parlor game for New York and DC elites, not us, and it has consistently helped Trump by hiding the truth about who and what he is.
"Martin, Baker, Haberman, et al, aren't pro-Trump, their scrupulous adherence to journalistic norms just requires them to recite his point of view while burying rebuttals under 17 layers of innuendo." This isn't something we've missed, it's the exact thing we hate.
A lot of other people who dwell in elite political writer circles respect Haberman and her colleagues for being really good at this game, but the problem is that the game itself is REALLY MESSED UP and has promoted the far right by letting political media become a vector for lies
