A thread on @icecube, the Trump Administration's #PlatinumPlan, and normalizing terrorism.

#stochasticterroism is defined as "the public demonization of a person or group resulting in the incitement of a violent act, which is statistically probable but whose specifics cannot be predicted."

My biggest problem with Cube's explanation for working with the Trump administration for that "Platinum Plan" is that he said he reached out to both parties. One party being the Republican Party (hi, @GOP).

The head of the Republican Party, the sitting President of the United States, is a stochastic terrorist. That's not hyperbole/fear-mongering. Look at the acts of domestic terrorism where the white nationalist terrorists draw a direct line from their actions to Trump's words.

Look at how Trump himself said that there were "good people on both sides" in Charlottesville, where one side was filled with violent white supremacists who literally murdered a woman.

By Cube treating the acceptance of Trump's #PlatinumPlan as a "bipartisan" issue, he normalizes the stochastic terrorism that this administration has trafficked in since Day One.

He normalizes Trump calling for violence against peaceful protests for Black victims of police brutality. He normalizes Trump giving marching orders to the Proud Boys and other violent white supremacists.

He (Cube) demanded that the Black vote be boycotted until his "Contract With Black America" demands are met. And yet, he doesn't say anything about the racial animus from the current administration...

...up to and including the fact that Trump had almost 4 years to come up with a "plan" that didn't involve building a wall, banning Muslims, or the horrid handling of a global pandemic on this country's shores.

Watch for who's singing Cube's praises. Odds are, they are the same ones that made sure that NWA was on a federal watch list for their songs.

Even with Trump's stochastic terrorism notwithstanding, Cube is giving Trump a benefit of the doubt that is neither earned nor merited. Trump has NEVER acted in good faith regarding Black community outreach.

He depends on #PetNegroApologists (Hi, Darrell Scott, Omarosa, Cubic Zirconia & Itchy Toilet Paper, Terrence Williams, and the rest of your depraved ilk) to whisper sweet nothings in his ear about him being the best President for Black America since a guy named Abe.

If you don't believe me, let me take you back to earlier in this administration. Despite appointing the monstrously incompetent billionaire Betsy DeVos as the Secretary of Education, HBCU executives looked forward to a meeting with Trump.

They wanted a chance at the table. They wanted an opportunity to ask key questions.

And what did they get?

Nothing. Nada. Goose-egg. Zilch.

All they got was a rushed photo op and then they were given the bumrush out the back door.

Perhaps if they had all taken turns heaping praise upon the shoulders of the Golden Calf Incarnate, their voices might have been heard. But as it was, a Q&A session was okee-doked into a hastily-assembled photo op.

And let's not even get started with Cube's "Contract With Black America", that was seemed to have been so hastily assembled that it didn't include initiatives for Black women. And Cube was correctly called out on this slight. (shoutout to @blackwomenviews).

So, before Cube can pat himself on the back for creating this contract, maybe he ought to look at how his contract fell short, and what he could do to rectify it.

Otherwise, he remains "just like the [brother] in the first verse."
